ELIGIBILITY FOR BACHELOR OF ENGINEERING DEGREE–

Possibility to Get Direct Admission in MSRIT. Candidate must have passed the 10 + 2 patterns of examination (equivalent to the two-year Pre-University in Karnataka), with Physics and Mathematics as required subjects and Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, and Electronics as optional subjects.
Candidates from the SC/ST, Category-1, and OBC categories must receive 40% in the qualifying examination and 45% in the case of General Category candidates to be eligible for admission.
When determining eligibility (and not ranking, in the case of engineering/technology courses), the marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics in the qualifying examination will be taken into account in favour of the required aggregate percentage if the marks obtained in Chemistry are less.

Examination System:

Possibility to Get Direct Admission in MSRIT. The internal & External examination system is followed as per University Guidelines.
Three sessional tests (internal) are conducted during each semester.
External Examinations (Theory and Practical) are held by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
Results are compiled and declared by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
Extensive use of Audio/Visual Techniques like OHP, LCD Projectors & CDs.

Personality Development:

Personality Development Classes are arranged right from the Second Semester to groom the overall personality of the students and to make them industry-ready and to face interviews.
There is an English Language lab to improve vocabulary and conversation skills.
Two Logical Reasoning Tests are arranged regularly for II-year & III-year students.
Students are motivated to undertake R&D activities and projects from II years.
Free Internet facility is available through Wi-Fi and LAN to the students in the college as well as in hostels.

Counseling And Guidance Cell:

A full-time counsellor is available at the counseling cell. Assistance from an Expert Counsellor (Outside) is also available.
Staff and students contact the cell during college time and discuss their problems.
