Infrastructure

Direct Quota Admission in CMRIT.CMRIT has the requisite infrastructure and facilities for doing placement drives in campus:

Multiple discussion rooms for technical and personal interviews
Four seminar halls (three 120-seat capacity and one 60-seat capacity) for pre-placement talks, seminars, conferences, group discussions, workshops, etc.
Dwain Auditorium: One 650-seat capacity for pre-placement talks, seminars, workshops, presentations, etc.

The whole campus is connected over the internet and students, faculty and college guests can connect to the internet with high bandwidth Wi-Fi from any corner of the campus. The college has lab infrastructure with over 300 workstations that can be used for conducting online tests simultaneously as part of campus placement drives.

CMRIT Admission:

CMR Institute of Technology Admission B.E Engineering Admissions for the Academic Year 2022 – 2023.Through CET Karnataka Selection Process (50% of the total seats). Through COMEDK (25% of the total seats), Through Management Quota (25% of the total seats). The Fee structure for each of the above channels would be as per the government announcement made from time to time.

Management Admission Process

Admission through this process is open to both Karnataka and non-Karnataka students. Eligible students (those who meet qualifying requirements as per the eligibility criteria) may contact the CMRIT Admissions Section in order to obtain the application form. Candidates will be selected based on their academic merit.

Through these centers, you will complete projects that allow you to work with the latest technologies. Our faculty are trained in these areas, and you will be able to leverage their expertise through project mentorship and guidance.

The Centre of Excellence offers students a way into the on-campus Centre of Excellence (Coe), shaped through CMRIT’s industry affiliation. Through these centers, students can complete projects through the use of the most recent technologies. The CMRIT faculty is qualified in these areas, and support student initiatives through project mentorship and direction.

Admissions Process

Five simple steps

Visit the Department of Direct Admissions & Student Affairs.
Register for a free counseling session to determine and finalize the academic programme of your choice.
Prepare all documents that are required to be submitted for verification.
Complete the application form and submit it along with the required documents.
Pay the application fees and tuition fees to confirm your seat.

For Diploma Holders

Diploma Holders in engineering with a minimum of 50% marks in the final examination, conducted by the Board of Technical Examination, Government of Karnataka or its equivalent, are eligible for admission to the corresponding branch of Second Year engineering. Candidates must take the Common Entrance Test (DCET) for Diploma students conducted by the CET Cell, Govt. of Karnataka. Seats will be allotted during the centralized counseling process conducted by the CET Cell.

Life Skills

We have partnered with the CMR Life Skills Institute to offer a number of training programmes for the development of soft skills such as communication and presentation skills, email and business etiquette, body language improvement, working in teams, and other aptitude enhancement methods. Students will benefit from interview preparedness workshops and seminars. These courses are integrated into the curriculum so that every student will be able to leverage this exposure.

Placement and Salary:

The placement in the college is very good and placement is 100% that is almost all the students get placed in reputed companies and the companies that visit the college for the recruitment purpose will hire the students in bulk and give good salary packages. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 30 LPA.
