PES University – Direct Engineering Admission. PES Institute of Technology Bangalore (PESIT) came into existence in the year 1972 and is located in the silicon valley of India that is Bangalore. The college mainly focuses on the main 4 educational streams which are Engineering, Medicine, Life Sciences & Management. PES Institute of Technology Bangalore comes under the engineering stream.

This institute was founded in the year 1988 by the People’s Education Society in Bangalore silicon valley of India. It was earlier attached to VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University) and now it comes under its own University. The college provides huge enriching opportunities for the students studying here to achieve skills & experiences in their career journey. The aim of PES Institute of Technology Bangalore is to initiate new challenges & seize new opportunities for the students so that they can withstand the challenges in the practical world.

The college is spread around a Sprawling twenty-five acres with complete lush green which gives a remarkable learning experience to the students coming here for their studies. As the college is located in the heart of the city, the students find no difficulty with any of the normal living necessities. The local transport of the city is also good by which they can travel to any part of the city.

B.Tech Admissions Procedure

PESU grants admission to 40% of its seats in undergraduate courses based on candidates’ performance in Karnataka CET and 60% of seats based on PESSAT (the university’s own entrance test) ranks. This year (2022) they are also considering JEE Main for B.Tech Admission into PES University for those who couldn’t appear in KCET and PESSAT.

There is a lateral entry scheme in place, by which students holding diploma degrees can directly enter the second year in the engineering course.
