RV College of Engineering Direct Admission Details 2024 The college was established in 1963, and The Rasht Riya Vidyalaya College of Engineering (RVCE or RV College of Engineering) is a top private co-educational as well as residential college located in Bangalore’s southern extension near Ken Geri and is also very near to Global Tech Park where all tech giants of India are present.

RV College of Engineering is affiliated with Karnataka’s Government Tech University, Visvesvaraya technical university, (VTU) situated in Belgaum, Karnataka. VTU is the main technical university that provides affiliation to all private as well as government engineering colleges of Karnataka. There are more than 160 private engineering colleges which are located in Karnataka and affiliated with VTU University. Among them, RVCE is the topmost private college which is under VTU University RV College of Engineering is also approved by AICTE, UGC. And it is Ranked AAA+ by NAAC and it also comes under top-ranked colleges in the latest NIRF rankings. It has also come under the Top 50 Engineering Colleges in India in NIRF data. Credits

Extra 2 credits to the students in the autonomous scheme, representing the college in sports and this would be entered in the 4^th & 8th-semester marks sheet, is being proposed.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Students of the first year, who are selected to represent the VTU team are given blazers. For the second time of representation, they are given a cash prize of Rs 2,500.00, in the third year Rs.3000.00, and Fourth year Rs.3500.00 from the university.
Students who are winning in the Inter-university competitions are given a cash award of Rs. 12000.00 for First place, and Rs. 10000.00 for obtaining second place. While the Third place and fourth-place winners are given Rs.7500.00 and Rs.1000.00 respectively.
RVCE awards Rs 1500.00 for University representation, Rs 2500.00 for State representation & Rs 5000.00 for National and International levels.
RSST also Honours the sports persons for University representation and All-India representations.

Seat Allotment

In this section, I will be giving you a complete idea about the percentage of seats that will be before the management quota.

In every engineering college, only a few seats will be allotted through the management quota. The other seats are given through entrance exams.

Karnataka CET – 45% seats.
COMEDK – 30%.
Management quota – 25%.

Yes, only 25% of the seats in RV engineering colleges are given through management quota and direct admission. This is for undergraduate programs.

For postgraduate programs, the seat allotment is given below.

GATE – 80% seats.
Management quota – 20% seats.

This is the reason why RV engineering college has international standards. Most of the engineering colleges in India sell their seats like pancakes. But RV College of Engineering gives seats only to deserving students.
