About College

NRI Direct BBA Admission in Christ Bangalore. Christ (Deemed to be University) was born out of the educational vision of St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, an educationist and social reformer of the nineteenth century in South India. Chavara founded the first indigenous Catholic congregation Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) in 1831, which administers Christ (Deemed to be University). Established in 1969 as Christ College, the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India conferred Autonomy to Christ College in 2004 and identified it as an “institution with potential for excellence” in 2006. In 2008 under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India, declared the institution a “deemed to be university” in the name and style of Christ University. Later in 2018, upon the direction of the Supreme Court of India, the word university was removed, thus making it Christ (Deemed to be University). Christ was one of the first institutions in India to be accredited in 1998 by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), and subsequently in 2004 and 2016 been awarded a Grade ‘A’ on a 4-point scale.

BBA and Specializations in Christ University

Bachelor of Business Administration is available on all the campuses of Christ University. But specialization of BBA is in selected campuses only.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) – Available on the central campus, Kengeri campus, Yeshwanthpur campus, Delhi NCR campus, and Pune campus.
BBA in Finance and International Business – Available in Yeshwantpur and Bannerghatta campuses.
BBA Honours – Available in Yeshvanthpur, Bannerghatta, and Delhi NCR campus.
BBA in Business Analytics – Pune campus.
BBA in Fintech Honours – Delhi NCR Campus.
BBA in Decision Science (Industry Integrated).

So now before you apply for admission to Christ University for BBA, you must decide whether you are planning to take regular BBA or BBA with any specializations.

Application Process

Applicants may apply online for the program from January 2023 on the University website until applications officially close.

Applications for each program will close approximately a week before the scheduled selection process.

All applicants must visit the page: https://app.christuniversity.in and register by entering NAME (as printed on Class 10 Marks Card), EMAIL-ID, and set a password. (The email id and mobile number provided will be used for sending confirmation and application status-update messages). An applicant can apply for as many programs using the same ID as long as the prescribed eligibility criteria for the specific program is fulfilled.

Applicants must have the following documents before filling out the application online:

Copy of statement of marks of class 10 and class 11 final report or class 12 Board result (Mandatory).
Fill in all the details on the “detailed application” page. Scan and upload a recent passport-size photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms formal dress with white background, not more than 100 kb) and click “Submit”. On clicking Submit, a viewable and editable page will appear on the screen. In case you need to make any corrections; you may edit the data/details and then click “Confirm Submission”.
Applicants will have the option to choose the selection process venue and date, before making the payment for the application.
Payment may be made through card/UPI/net banking. After successful payment, click on submit. A 9 (Nine) digit Application number will be generated. If unable to print the application form due to system/power/internet failure, log on to https://app.christuniversity.in, under the “Application Status” page enter the registered Email-ID and password to view and print the application form.

(After payment if you do not receive the 9 (Nine) digit application number, then your application process is incomplete, and payment will go in for the refund process. The refund will take about 15 working days and must be checked with your bank).

Candidates falling under any of these categories (PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN / OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS) must send the required supporting documents (Copy of Passport, Copy of PIO / OCI card whichever is applicable, and a Copy of Class 10 and Class 11/12 Marks card) in an A4 size Envelope ONLY through Registered Post / Courier to The Co-Ordinator, Office of International Affairs, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Hosur Road, Bengaluru – 560 029, Karnataka, India, Phone: +91 80 4012 9439.

Kindly take a print of the application form and keep it for reference.
All applicants must make a note of the username, password, application number of the program applied for, and the selection process date for all different purposes.
The Important Dates section must be referred to before filling out the application, or candidates can choose the selection process venue and dates while filling out the application online.
No request for a change of date will be entertained.
The selection process will be conducted on the dates chosen (the start date of the process will be indicated in the application) while filling out the application or as announced by the office of admissions. Kindly upload all the qualification-related documents (class 10 and class 11/12), in the given link on your application status login page under the document upload tab within Five (5) days after submitting the application form online. Else your application will be rejected.

The Admit card for the program will be updated ONE or TWO days before the scheduled process and can be accessed from http://app.christuniversity.in.

Christ University Entrance Exam Pattern

The exam pattern follows the latest trends where the barcode system is used to hide the student’s identity.

The process ensures no bias in the marking system and emphasizes good and healthy student and teacher relationships.

The duration of the written Test (Round 1) will be for 90 minutes. 90 Minutes – 90 Questions – 90 Marks. Each Correct Answer carries 1 mark and each Wrong Answer carries -0.25
