About BBA in NMIMS

Narsee Munjee Mumbai BBA Admission. The BBA curriculum is designed to provide the industry with young managers for entry-level positions for their first experience in a corporate role. The curriculum as currently envisaged offers students a choice of specialization in marketing and/or finance roles in the 3rd year of their program.

With the phenomenal growth in the Indian Economy and the rise of homegrown multinationals, the commercial enterprise today is looking for people to take up responsibility at entry levels who are flexible and adaptive to their business environment as well as sensitive enough to respond to the challenges being offered in an increasingly competitive global environment with multifaceted skill sets backed up by a rigorously honed knowledge base. The BBA program has been tailor-made to fill in this need. Through a practical approach towards the syllabus, guided by the faculty from the industry itself, students are prepared for the real corporate world. Innovative methods of teaching consisting of case study discussions, presentations, classroom debates, and role plays are used to make the classroom experience an invigorating one.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is spread over 6 semesters with 6 subjects being taught every semester, which is a total of 36 subjects.

Program Objectives

To associate the University with Councils, Academic Bodies of administrative education, and corporate bodies in relation to the courses, curriculum development, and advancement along with the upgradation in the course content to ensure that a student is well equipped with all the knowledge and skills required to become directly employable.
To collaborate with institutes and/or organizations in India and abroad that have similar objectives and functions, to facilitate exchange programs.
To take initiative in improving the education level and methodology.
To collaborate with industries and organizations in order to formulate training programs of mutual interest for the benefit of the students.
To understand the meaning of feedback, self-evaluation, and regulatory mechanism and to apply it in all aspects.
Development of criteria and tools for the collection of information based on the design and evaluation methodology, provoking skills for reasoning and innovation.

Eligibility criteria for admissions in NMIMS Mumbai:

The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination including International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB Certificate / & D.P. Awarded candidates are not eligible) in any stream from a recognized board at the first attempt.
As per NPAT BBA Eligibility Criteria, a minimum of 60 percent aggregate marks at 10+2 or equivalent examination is compulsory.
Candidates passing in Mathematics and or Statistics at 10+2 or equivalent exam are eligible to apply for B.B.A
Candidates of CBSE, and ICSE, should mention in the online registration / e-admission form (if selected) 10+2 or equivalent aggregate marks of all the subjects for which the candidate has taken & appeared.
The candidate should have passed all the subjects taken & appeared for in the applicable examination/s. The aggregate percentage of all subjects for which the candidate has taken or appeared will be considered for confirming the candidate’s eligibility for the program at the time of admission.
In case, the mark sheet issued by the applicable Board / Institution is in percentile/s, the actual aggregate percentage of all the subjects appeared by the candidate will be taken into consideration.
In order to appear for NPAT BBA, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria laid down by NMIMS University, Mumbai. NMIMS Programs After Twelfth for BBA or NPAT BBA is conducted for admissions in Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce.
The eligibility criteria of NPAT BBA states that the aspiring applicants should have passed or appeared in the Class 10+2 board exam or equivalent exam from a recognized board or conducting body. Although the candidates can pursue the 10+2 in any stream, BBA aspirants must have studied Mathematics or Statistics as compulsory subjects at this level.

NMIMS NPAT 2023 Registration & Application Process

Before proceeding with NPAT 2023 registration and filling in the NMIMS NPAT 2023 Application form, check the important instructions and guidelines below:

Candidates must register Online for the NMIMS NPAT exam. The option is given for two retakes of the NPAT exam by paying retake fees and a number of schools opted for it.
The registration fees are based on the number of Schools selected for each test category and the total retakes
Only paid candidates will be allowed to schedule the exam
Candidates can select multiple test categories/multiple schools and multiple program preferences.
The option of date once chosen cannot be altered later/after the successful completion of registration and payment.
Candidates can choose 1 main and 2 retakes for each of the examination categories. In all, a candidate will be given chance to appear total 3 times of in whichever exam he wishes to appear in.
Candidates who have taken NMIMS NPAT 2023 test more than once, the highest scores will be considered for the merit list as per the choice of school & preferences given.
