Symbiosis Pune BBA Program

Direct BBA Admission in SCMS. BBA is a full three-year program. The three-year program is spread over six semesters. Each semester contains six months. The student will get the chance of various additional modules of the core subject. It allows you to choose the elective course from different specializations.

There are six specializations during the BBA course. The name of specialization is Finance, Marketing management, Human resource management, Entrepreneurship management, International Business, and Environmental management.

Symbiosis Pune was established in 2004 for Management studies.
There is a total of 300 seats in that 240 are for Indian students and 60 places for international students.
For admission to BBA, it is mandatory to attain SET in online mode.
The name of the institute is the Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies.
SCMS Pune is a private college.
For admission need to attain the SET entrance test.
There is an online registration facility.
An essential eligibility criterion for admission is 10+2.
Duration, of course, is 3 years.
There are a total of 6 specializations for the BBA course.

SCMS Pune BBA Eligibility

Passed XII in any discipline from any recognized Board/Council/University with a minimum of 50% marks for the general category (45% marks for students of SC and ST categories)
Qualifying for the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), Personal interview & Writing Ability Test of our center.
Indian students will be admitted on the basis of the merit list drawn out of the results of the selection process through SET and PIWAT (SET score 50% and PIWAT 50%)

SCMS Pune BBA Selection Criteria

The selection of candidates shall be strictly based on their performance in SET and PI-WAT.
Attending all components/tests of PI-WAT/ST-PI is mandatory to be eligible for admission to any UG program.
Only candidates who attend all components/tests of the selection process (PI-WAT/ST-PI) shall be considered eligible for the generation of merit/wait/reject list.
Candidates who remain absent for any of the components/tests will be considered ineligible for the selection process for UG degree programs of SIU.

The candidates must submit the necessary documents at the time of PI-WAT.

Personal Interaction (PI)- It is a personal interaction/interview of a candidate with a panel of experts from Industries/Academics. That covers general awareness, extracurricular activities, academics and specific fields of interest, communication – skills, and overall personality.

Written Ability Test (WAT) – The Test includes one PAT (Picture Association Test) and writing a short essay on a given topic (of general nature) as well as answering the questions related to the given topic.

Aspirants applying for the BBA course must appear for SET and PIWAT. For this, the candidates must get themselves enrolled on the official website of the SET Entrance Exam.

To apply for SET, the candidates must visit the official website of the Symbiosis Entrance Test.

Candidates must complete the SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test) online registration process.
Candidates who wish to appear for the SET can apply for two subjects i.e. one subject each from the morning and evening sessions.
Login using the registration credentials and proceed with the application form.

Key Points for BBA Admission

Students will be selected for admission based on the cumulative score of – The Entrance Test (SET) – 50% weightage and the Personal Interaction and Written Ability Test (PI-WAT) – 50 % Weightage.
Students appearing in their 12th final examinations are also eligible to apply for SET.
For the PI-WAT round, only those candidates will be called who qualify for the minimum cut-off marks in SET.
