Management Quota BBA Admission in SCMS. SIU announces the four-year degree program with multiple entry and exit options as envisioned in the NEP 2020. The highlights of the new program offerings are as under

The Programme framework allows exciting options to pursue single majors, double majors, minors, the opportunity to pursue multidisciplinary, Ability, and Skill enhancement courses
Offers a good blend of immersive learning, research, and community engagement
Includes opportunities for semester exchange programs with foreign universities
Offers the following exit options
1. A Certificate at the end of the first year of the program with 44 credits
2. A Diploma at the end of the first two years of the program with 84 credits
3. A UG Degree at the end of 3 years of the program with 120 credits
4. A UG Degree with Honours / Research at the end of the 4 years of the program with 160 credits
Offers option of Re-entry within 3 years of exit and 7 years as the maximum permissible period to complete the program.

ELIGIBILITY

INDIAN STUDENTS

Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination passed from any recognized board with minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes).

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:

Note – Depending on the prevailing pandemic situation of COVID-19, the schedules, as well as the nature/structure of the exams, can change, and all tests can be conducted entirely online or entirely offline or in a combination of both modes at the discretion of SIU.

INFRASTRUCTURE

Classrooms: SCMS has spacious classrooms with LCD projectors, a facility for collar mikes, and a Public address system. Ours is a fully Wi-Fi-enabled campus.
Computer Laboratory: The institute has a well-equipped computer laboratory, with an interactive smart board, LCD Projector, and internet connectivity, to facilitate the teaching-learning process.
Library & Reading Room: Our Library houses some of the finest collections of management & course-specific books, classics, fiction & non-fiction books, periodicals, journals, newspapers, CDs, DVDs, etc. The noteworthy feature is the digital library which enables access to e-journals, e-books, and online databases and catalogs where students and faculty members can browse varied databases such as CMIE Prowess IQ, CMIE -Industry Outlook, DELNET, and centrally subscribed other online resources.
Students’ Interaction lounge: The Interaction lounge of our center helps our students to interact freely with our faculty members and extend learning beyond the classroom.
Placement Cell: In order to carry out the placement-related activities for the Third year students the college has constituted the Placement Cell.
Audio Visual Room and Conference Hall: For presentations by corporate representatives during the conduct of the workshop / for placement, or for presentations by faculty/staff we have Audio Visual Room. To conduct meetings/discussions a separate Conference Hall is available with modern IT infrastructure.
Indoor Games room: Indoor games like Table tennis, carom, chess, scrabble, etc. are available in the institute for the purpose of rejuvenating the students.
Outdoor sports facility: Outdoor sports facilities for playing basketball, volleyball, football, and cricket are available within our campus area.
Music room: A well-equipped music room with all modern wind and string instruments is available for use of our students.
Scrollers: Important information is disseminated to the students instantly through scrollers strategically positioned on all the floors.

The Placement Cell is an integral part of our institute. Our placement cell has been immensely successful in creating and maintaining a good network across top-notch companies in all sectors, thereby ensuring opportunities for students for recruitment with promising career options. We see placements not as a mere end goal, but as an entire process where students must be equipped with all the necessary skills required in the corporate world. CANTEEN, MESS, HOSTEL & CAMPUS FACILITY:

CAFETERIA

The campus houses a cafeteria that serves multi-cuisine food. Mess – The Campus has a mess that serves both vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian breakfast, lunch, evening snacks & dinner. A Juice Bar facility is also there which provides fresh fruit juices, coffee, etc.

HOSTEL:

The hostel facility is available for girls as well as for boys with limited seats. The hostel has twin / triple sharing, well-furnished rooms with Wi-Fi facility, hot and cold-water facilities throughout the day, attached bath & toilets, generator backup, indoor games/recreation rooms with TV, guest rooms, housekeeping, and round-the-clock security. Due to the shortage of accommodation hostel is allotted on a first come first serve basis. It is located within a radius of 1 km from the campus.

CONVENIENCE STORE:

The campus has an in-house convenience store for gaining access to necessities.

REPROGRAPHY CENTRE

The campus has a reprography center that helps students with the supply of necessary stationery, photocopying, and printout facilities.

GYMNASIUM:

The campus has a well spacious gym set up with all the latest equipment.

HEALTH CARE CENTRE:

The Symbiosis Centre of Health Care (SCHC) is the Symbiosis family’s in-house healthcare service provider. It offers preventive, curative, and promotional healthcare facilities. SCHC provides Out Patient Department services at all Symbiosis campuses. A team of specialized doctors is on hand for consultation.

ATM

Union Bank of India has set up an ATM in the campus for the facility of students, faculty, and staff.
