BBA Eligibility
- Passed XII in any discipline from any recognized Board/Council/University with a minimum of 50% marks for the general category (45% marks for students of SC and ST categories)
- Qualifying for the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), Personal interview & Writing Ability Test of our center.
- Indian students will be admitted on the basis of the merit list drawn out of the results of the selection process through SET and PIWAT (SET score 50% and PIWAT 50%)
Key Points for BBA Admission
- Students will be selected for admission based on the cumulative score of – The Entrance Test (SET) – 50% weightage and the Personal Interaction and Written Ability Test (PI-WAT) – 50 % Weightage.
- Students appearing in their 12th final examinations are also eligible to apply for SET.
- For the PI-WAT round, only those candidates will be called who qualify for the minimum cut-off marks in SET.
- Also, candidates must note that they should use SCMS as their preferred course while filling up the application form online
SCMS Pune BBA Selection Criteria
- The selection of candidates shall be strictly based on their performance in SET and PI-WAT.
- Attending all components/tests of PI-WAT/ST-PI is mandatory to be eligible for admission to any UG program.
- Only candidates who attend all components/tests of the selection process (PI-WAT/ST-PI) shall be considered eligible for the generation of merit/wait/reject list.
- Candidates who remain absent for any of the components/tests will be considered ineligible for the selection process for UG degree programs of SIU.

The candidates must submit the necessary documents at the time of PI-WAT.
Personal Interaction (PI)- It is a personal interaction/interview of a candidate with a panel of experts from Industries/Academics. That covers general awareness, extracurricular activities, academics and specific fields of interest, communication – skills, and overall personality.
Written Ability Test (WAT) – The Test includes one PAT (Picture Association Test) and writing a short essay on a given topic (of general nature) as well as answering the questions related to the given topic.
SET 2023 EXAM REGISTRATION PROCESS
SET/SLAT/SITEEE 2023 will be conducted on two different dates. Candidates can appear for the dates, i.e. May 06, 2023 (Saturday) and May 14, 2023 (Sunday). Please note these dates and the respective test timings carefully.

A candidate can appear for SET/SLAT/SITEEE on both dates (May 06 and May 14, 2023). If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation. There will be no normalization. A rigorous process that has been statistically tested will be administered to ensure that unique types of questions are framed under a specific topic across the question papers. The normal spread will ensure that there is no unfair advantage to candidates who opt for any specific test / multiple tests. This will ensure the normalization of the spread of questions across sections. Furthermore, the question papers will be normalized for the level of difficulty across all two tests. No correspondence regarding this will be entertained.
Candidate should note that SET/SLAT/SITEEE 2023 is only the first step. Each Symbiosis institute has its subsequent independent selection process.
