COMEDK Direct Admission in RV College of Engineering.RV College of Engineering (RVCE) established in 1963 is one of the earliest self-financing engineering colleges in the country. The institution is run by Rashtriya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST) a not-for-profit Trust. RVCE is an Autonomous college. Currently, the institution offers 12 Bachelor, 16 Master Programs and all the departments have Research Centres, affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Belagavi. The institution has set itself a Vision of “Leadership in Quality Technical Education, Interdisciplinary Research & Innovation, With a Focus on Sustainable and Inclusive Technology”.

Cut-off COMEDK

The admission at RV College of Engineering, Bangalore, is based on the COMEDK score, followed by a cut-off and counseling process conducted by the COMEDK exam authority.

Non-Karnataka applicants must undertake COMEDK Entrance Test to be eligible for B Tech admission to RV College.

COMEDK exam has no negative marking, which means 1 mark would be given to each right answer and 0 for each wrong answer
The exam is usually conducted in May every year, but tentative dates are due to the covid pandemic.

COMEDK exam marking criteria

In the case of tie-ups, candidates frequently end up with the same grades or ranks. COMEDK Inter-se merit helps in the categorization and selection of students by using a few criteria

In the event of a tie, applicants will be chosen in the first round based on the greatest number of correct answers in the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics papers. The person who receives the highest grade will be given a higher rank.
If there is still a tie, the highest marks in Physics and Mathematics will be considered, and the person with the better grade or aggregate will be granted the higher position.
If the tie still exists, the applicant who scored higher in the Mathematics part will be given a higher rank.
If the tie still has a high correlation, the applicant with the higher age and a higher rank in the list will be given preference.
