Admission Procedure

Selection process in Dayanand Sagar College. The admission process at DSATM is conducted through common tests that are conducted by state agencies and national agencies like CET and COMMED-K. It commences in the month of March every year and concludes on 31st July of the same year. The lateral entry (Diploma Quota) through CET is for 3rd semester and commences in the month of July/August.

B.E Programs:

For UG, admission to college is through the entrance test, Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Karnataka Government & Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka COMEDK. The students with meritorious rankings are considered for admission.
A pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination in the first attempt with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as specialization
A pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with 45 % marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology/ Computer science/ Electronic

Admission through Management Quota:

Candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry are compulsory subjects.

The campus is totally technology enabled with 24X 7 Wi-Fi and internet facilities for the staff and students.
Internet leased line with fibre optic technology is implemented in the campus powered by Airtel with the speed of 100 MBPS 1:1 CISCO and DLINK devices are used for switching process with minimum 24 and maximum 42 port capacity.
200 Airtel Wi-Fi access points are placed throughout the campus for uninterrupted internet access.
Totally 688 computers with LAN connection are available on the campus for the access of students and teachers for academic activities. All the classrooms and Laboratories are Wi-Fi enabled with well-furnished computers, LCD projectors with screen; portable audio systems are also available.
Online platforms adopted on campus include Cisco WebEx, Google Classroom, Google Meet and Google Forms with additional supporting facility like writing pads, Tripods, etc.
The digital library of the college is having open access to e-books, periodicals, e-journals, and e-resources along with the OPAC system supporting online learning facility. Institution has LIBSOFT a multi user package designed and developed for library Automation for effective management of a library books from all aspect
