The Institute

Direct Engineering Admission in Symbiosis. Symbiosis Institute of Technology, a constituent of Symbiosis International University was established in the year, 2008 and currently offers B. Tech programs in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, and Robotics & Automation and M.Tech programs in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Robotics & Automation, Embedded Systems, Geoinformatics & Surveying Technology (G&ST) and Engineering Design. Research programs leading to Ph. D. Degrees in all disciplines were introduced in the Faculty of Engineering of Symbiosis International University in 2010.

The Institute endeavors to provide quality technical education in line with the requirements of today’s competitive industry and fast-paced technological developments. The Institute’s curriculum lays stress on basics and the latest developments. Realizing the fact that faculty is the most important resource, special efforts have been made to find, recruit and retain highly qualified and competent faculty. Infrastructure created and acquired by the Institute, like all other Symbiosis Institutes, is of very high quality and includes multimedia classrooms, well-equipped labs, high-end computing facilities with various latest software for simulations and other applications, a well-stocked modern library with digital media and database, auditorium, seminar halls, separate hostels for boys & girls and playgrounds.

The Institute provides an environment conducive to harnessing the potential of both faculty and students through systematic and effective planning and control of the teaching-learning process, both within and outside the classroom. The basic teaching-learning process is supplemented by organizing tech fests, cultural programs, sports competitions, industry-institute collaborations in teaching-learning, guest lectures by renowned personalities, and student exchange programs (Global Immersion Programme) with foreign universities.

**Depending on any unavoidable circumstances, the schedules and the nature/structure of the test can change, and all tests (SET/SLAT/SITEEE) can be conducted entirely online or offline or in a combination of both modes at the discretion of SIU.

Online Admission Procedure

Paid Registration
1. Registration instructions for SITEEE candidates
  - The entrance test registration fee is INR 1950 per test-SITEEE/SET/SLAT
  - INR 1950 to be paid separately for each exam slot of SITEEE
  - The institute registration fee for admission to SIT Pune is INR 1000.
  - All registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  - Both registrations (entrance test + institute) are compulsory for admissions to B.Tech. first-year programs at SIT Pune.
2. Registration instructions for JEE(Main)/ Any State Govt. Engg. Entrance Exam candidates
  - The registration fee is INR 750.
  - JEE registration fees are waived for the candidates who have paid registration fees for SITEEE + SIT Pune (INR 1950 + INR 1000).

International Students

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry /Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subjects. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.

Do not have to appear for the entrance exam (SIT EEE / JEE-Main / Any State Government Engineering Entrance Examination) in India

International students’ eligibility as per SCIE norms. Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE) handles all subject mattersrelating to admissions of International Students to the constituent institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University).
