Computer Science and Engineering

The digital era has become omnipresent in all aspects of life. As the role of computers and other technologies is thriving exponentially, the need for efficient and competent computer engineers increases too. Hence, MIT-WPU has introduced a four-year program in Computer Science and Engineering. This program equips students to work in various domains of engineering such as design, development, testing, and maintenance. Students have the opportunity to work for renowned companies such as Infosys, Wipro, Synechron, and more.

Computer Science and Engineering(Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)

The School of Computer Engineering and Technology is one of the largest departments at MIT-WPU. A specialization program in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is one of the new programs offered at the school.
The program offers the student the latest technologies focused on the domain of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. Over the four years of the program, students will learn the skills and knowledge required in the domain of AI & DS. The program will enable the student to various career aspects as Data Scientist, Business Analyst, and Researcher to tackle real-life problems in the field of Machine learning, Statistics, knowledge discovery, and data visualization.

Bioengineering

Bioengineering is a multidisciplinary program that integrates principles of biological, physical, chemical, mathematics, and life sciences along with different aspects of chemical, mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering. It inherits knowledge from molecular to organ system levels, and develops biomaterials and devices, involving information and technology management, as well as methods for assessment and evaluation of technology, for biological applications.
Bioengineers play an important role in the design of medical devices such as artificial internal organs, imaging machines, cardiac pacemakers, implants, etc. B. Tech program in Bioengineering has a special emphasis on interdisciplinary areas such as bioinformatics, biomechanics, bioenergy, bio-nanotechnology, biopolymers, biomedical electronics, etc. The major sectors in Bioengineering are Biomedical, Biopharma, Bio Agriculture, Bio Industrial, Bio Services

B.Tech Materials Science and Engineering

B.Tech.(Materials Science and Engineering) (MSE) is a cross-disciplinary program that focuses on how materials are designed and developed for a particular application, how they are manufactured, processed, and recycled, and how they actually perform in practical applications. It combines engineering sciences such as Fluid Mechanics, Heat and Mass Transfer, Kinetics, and Thermodynamics with basic sciences such as Physics and Chemistry that he t delve into the Structure of Matter from atomic and millimeter scale, and Mathematics.
Emphasis is given to solving real-world problems stemming from frontier areas such as nanotechnology, biotechnology, information technology, energy, manufacturing, and other major engineering disciplines. We have taken care that the student is thoroughly trained in taking cognizance of economic, legal, social, and environmental factors while solving the problem at hand.

Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering is one of MIT-WPU’s most versatile engineering disciplines. Our program offers a unique blend of academics and co-curricular activities, with a vibrant real-life experience for budding mechanical engineers. In this four-year program, students learn how to design, develop and improve products and systems for Automotive, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Energy Conservation, and other industries. After completing this program, students can work with industry leaders such as Thermax, Mahindra, Larsen & Turbo, and others.

Civil Engineering

From the smallest hut to stunning bridges and buildings, civil engineers have developed some of the best engineering marvels. Those who too want to create such structures and make valuable contributions to our economy should consider our four-year Civil Engineering program.
During this program, students are trained to conceive, design, build, monitor, operate & maintain infrastructure and transportation & public utility projects. After completing this program, students will have the knowledge and skills to construct future living spaces and can work with other linked industries.

Civil Engineering (Smart Infrastructure & Construction)

This program provides a range of technologies that can be applied to solve infrastructure problems associated with aging infrastructure and increasing demands. The potential for infrastructure and urban improvement remains unrealized, however, due to technical, financial, and social constraints and criticisms that limit the implementation of smart city concepts for infrastructure management. Smart technologies include sensors, crowdsourcing, citizen science, actuators, data transmission, the Internet of Things, big data analytics, data visualization, and blockchain, which can be used for infrastructure management.

As the involvement and demand for robots increases, so does the demand for skilled experts to build, operate, and service them. To cater to these requirements, MIT-WPU has started a unique B. Tech program for Robotics and Automation.
Here, students learn the construction, operation, design, and application of robots. After completing this four-year program, they can work for research firms, nuclear power plants, manufacturing industries, and more.

Petroleum Engineering(Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning)

Our Petroleum Engineering program is considered one of the most unique and lucrative programs in India. Here, our well-experienced faculty teaches students to design & develop methods & technologies for extracting oil and gas from deposits below the Earth’s surface. During this four-year program, students get a brief overview of petroleum exploration, drilling engineering, refining and transport, reservoir engineering, and more.
