Direct BBA Admission in Symbiosis University Pune

Eligibility criteria for Indian Students:

Candidates should have passed 12th or any alike course in any discipline from any recognized Board/ University with at least 50% marks for the general (open) category and 45% marks for students of SC and ST categories.
Additionally, candidates (Indian students) are admitted based on the merit list drawn out of the results of the selection process which includes, the Symbiosis BBA Entrance Exam (SET). SET is a customary online test for admissions at the sister concern undergraduate institutes of Symbiosis International University.
The admission of International students is processed through the Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE) of Symbiosis International University.

Eligibility for Differently Abled Candidates:

A student having blindness, hearing impairment, and locomotor disorders with a minimum of 40% of damages can claim admissions under this category. A medical certificate has to be submitted in this regard during the admission process. The disability certificate will be cross-checked by Symbiosis Centre of Health Care (SCHC), Pune, for admission under this category.

Primarily, the three years Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) had a preset structure. The program evolved to grant a framework so that students can choose from the bunch of courses with six different streams of specialization offered under BBA.

Symbiosis BBA caters to ‘The Cafeteria’ course which has been designed to allow flexibility to the students to take up courses of their choice. The program comprises 150 credits, with a mixture of core courses and elective courses. This approach encourages and permits the students to choose elective courses from various other specializations

The methodology includes interactive learning through workshops, lectures, Case studies, Industrial visits, Project work, Internships, Field trips, Research Projects, and Simulations.

SCMS also provides a Global Immersion Program (GIP) for a Semester exchange, Study tour, Summer school, and Service Learning. Under this initiative, the students get an opportunity to study abroad at the Partner Universities of Symbiosis.

Hostel Facility

Presently the college has a hostel facility for girls only. The hostel has luxurious twin / triple sharing, well-furnished rooms with Wi-Fi facility, hot and cold-water facilities throughout the day, attached bath & toilets, generator backup, indoor games/recreation rooms with TV, guest rooms, housekeeping, and round-the-clock security. Due to the shortage of accommodation hostel is allotted on a first come first serve basis. It is located within a radius of 1 km from the campus.

Health Centre and Gymnasium

The College also houses a Health Centre on campus with one doctor and medical staff. The students use this facility to undergo their health check-ups every year. The campus has a gym set up with all the latest equipment.
