Eligibility Criteria

At least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both class X and XII.
* Bachelor’s Degree (minimum 3 years for PGDM and PGDM-HRM; Minimum 4 years for PGDM-IB), with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from any University recognized by the AICTE/AIU/ Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
Candidates appearing for the final examination for the Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent examination) and completing all requirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree by 30th June 2023 can also apply to the PGDM and PGDM-HRM programmes, subject to furnishing evidence to that effect latest by 1st October 2023.
Applicants to the PGDM-IB programme must possess a minimum of 1 year (one year) of work experience as on 31st December 2022, after completion of a Bachelor’s degree of admissible duration for the programme.

* The basis for computing the percentage obtained by the candidate would be based on the practice followed by the university/ institution/board from where the candidate has obtained the degree/certificate. In case of the candidates being awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the equivalence would be based on the equivalence certified by the university/ institution/board from where they have obtained their bachelor’s degree/certificate. In case the university/ institution /board does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by MDI by dividing obtained CGPA(X) by the maximum CGPA(Y) and multiplying the fraction so obtained by 100 (Z). e.g. (X)/(Y))*100.

Note

MDI reserves the right to enhance fees and other charges at any point of time during the Academic Year. The due notice would be given while making such changes.
MDI uses CAT/valid GMAT scores for shortlisting candidates for its programs. IIMs have no role in the selection process or in conducting the programme.
NB – Up to a maximum of 5% over and above the “Approved Intake” per Course shall be available under the tuition fee waiver scheme as per the AICTE guidelines.

Selection Process

Management Quota Seats at MDI Gurgaon. Shortlisting of candidates for the GDPI process will be done on the basis of the details provided in the application form and their CAT or GMAT scores. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussions and Personal Interviews between February and April 2023 at a center in one of the following cities: Bangalore, Gurugram, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Mumbai. Centers other than Gurugram are tentative. The GDPI process may also be conducted online through zoom for which the intimation will be given to the short-listed candidates in advance.

The final selection of the candidates will be based on the weights of CAT-2022/ valid GMAT score, PI, Academic merit, academic diversity, work experience, and social diversity.

Process for NRI Applicants

Government of India (GOI) rules will be followed related to the admission of these categories of candidates. GOI guidelines will be applicable in determining the status of applicants. Candidates must make an online payment of Rs.8496 (Rupees eight thousand four hundred ninety-six only) inclusive of 18% GST using Credit/Debit card/Net Banking.

Final Selection

The final Selection Round at MDI Gurgaon has components like Group Discussion, Written Test, and Personal Interview. The final Admission offer is based on all the above parameters in the final selection round at MDI Gurgaon.

The Shortlisted candidates will be called for the selection process between February and April 2023 at a center in one of the following cities: Bangalore, Gurugram, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Mumbai. The large class of 391 students received 100% placement;
The median salary increased to Rs. 23.50 LPA in 2022 from Rs. 23 LPA the previous year;
The average pay for the PGDM-HRM climbed to Rs. 23.80 LPA in 2022, up from Rs. 23.15 LPA the year before.
The average salary for the PGDM and PGDM IB increased by 15% to Rs. 26.65 LPA from Rs. 23.15 LPA.
From Rs. 44 lakhs in 2021 to Rs. 1.14 crores in 2022, the top salary will climb by 159 percent.
