Management Quota Admission for MBA in XIMB Bhubaneswar. Xavier University Bhubaneswar is a globally recognized center of learning. This first Jesuit University in India came into existence in June 2013 after getting authorized by Odisha Legislative Assembly which passed an act. XIMB Course and Eligibility

MBA-BM Admission 2023

XIMB offers a 2-year MBA in Business Management program. It is the flagship course of the Institute. The course is offered in a duration of 2 years, comprising 4 semesters. The total fee for the course is INR 20,00,000.

Candidates having a minimum 3-year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University or Students in their Final Year of Graduation.

MBA-BM Selection Criteria:

Section-wise & total cut-off marks of CAT or XAT or X-GMT will be decided by XIMB for shortlisting the candidates. Shortlisted candidates are called for a Writing Ability Test, Group Discussion & Personal Interview.

EMBA-BM Admission 2023

XIMB offers an Executive Master’s Program in Business Management (EMBA-BM) for Working Executives & Practicing Managers. The course duration is 1 year. EMBA-BM will be of 4 terms spread over 12 months. The total fee for the course is INR 15,30,000.

EMBA-BM Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum 3-year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks
Minimum 3 years of Work Experience in an Executive Capacity
Self-employed candidates with a Minimum of 5 years of experience
Minimum age of 23 years
Sponsorship or No Objection Certificate from the Employer

EPGDM-VIL Admission 2023

Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management through Virtual Interactive Learning (EPGDM-VIL) is 12 months Executive PGDM Program designed for Working Executives offered by XIMB. The Executive PGDM has 200+ Tutorial Videos for Byte-sized Learning and 250+ Live Virtual Classes during Weekends. The total fee for the course is INR 3,54,000.

EPGDM-VIL Eligibility Criteria:

Graduate with a minimum of 50% marks and a minimum of 3 years of Work Experience in a Managerial or Administrative Role and a Letter of Recommendation from the Supervisor (to whom the executive reports).

Admission Test

Applicants are required to take any one of the Admission Tests:

a) XAT to be conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur, on January 08, 2023, or

b) CAT to be conducted by IIMs on November 27, 2022, or

c) GMAT taken in 2021 or 2022, or

d) X-GMT to be conducted by XIM University on January 29, 2023.

Applicants opting for XAT/CAT have to follow XAT/CAT advertisements respectively and apply in time. Registering for XAT/CAT/GMAT is a prerequisite for applying to XIM University, if not opting for X-GMT.

Application

Applicants also have to fill up the online application form separately for the XIM University program at: www.xim.edu.in. Upon successfully filling out the online application form and paying the relevant application fee, the applicant will be intimated by email about the acceptance of the form.

It may be noted that besides registering for XAT/CAT/GMAT, one has to apply (online) separately to XIM University.

XIMB Application Process 2022

For admission to XIMB, candidates have to apply online through XIM University 2022 admissions portal. The university sends an email to the candidates whose applications are accepted. Aspirants can follow the below-mentioned steps to fill out and submit XIMB 2022 application form:

1: Visit the official website (apply.xim.edu.in) and click on the “Apply” button for the respective course.

2: Register by filling in basic details including name, email ID, and mobile number.

3: On successful registration, log in with your registered email ID and password and start filling out the application form.

4: Upload signature and passport-size photograph in JPG/PNG format.

5: Pay the application fee through debit card/credit card/net banking.

6: Check all the entered information carefully and submit the form.

Selection Process

The Institute will decide the section-wise as well as total cut-off marks which will be used for short-listing the candidates to be called for Writing Ability Test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interviews. WAT, GD & PI will be held in Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Mumbai (if held offline). Candidates will have to meet their own travel expenses for appearing in the Interview session. The final selection will be made on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the XAT/CAT/GMAT/X-GMT as well as in the Writing Ability Test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview (which factors in the past academic record and relevant work experience). The selected candidates will be informed by mail in the month of April 2023.
