Management Quota MBA Admission – Tapmi Manipal. The student city of Manipal, Karnataka plays host to the T.A. Pai Management Institute, fondly known as TAPMI. With academic rigor and experiential learning at its core, TAPMI’s Post Graduate Diploma in Management Programs are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) since its constitution.

Established in 1980, TAPMI is one among the 7 institutes in India and 5% of the top business schools worldwide to have been accredited with the illustrious Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation, the oldest and toughest accreditation in the world of business education. MBA Program Overview

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

The MBA program’s goal is to inspire students to go past their limitations and reevaluate their limitations in order to succeed in business. TAPMI offers this degree as one of its four post-graduate management programs. During these two years, every area of a student’s life incorporates experiential learning and decision-making, as well as the outcomes of those decisions.

Banking and Financial Services (BKFS)

The MBA-BKFS program aims to create finance professionals capable of navigating the disruption that is sweeping the business. The program builds students’ skills and understanding of banking and finance using an innovative, modern curriculum.

Human Resource Management (HRM) concentration

The MBA-HRM program seeks to create transformative HR professionals capable of inspiring and helping millennials and new-generation businesses to jointly accomplish their goals. The program was created in collaboration with SHRM, the largest international professional organization for HR professionals.

Marketing Concentration

The MBA in Marketing program seeks to develop marketing experts who will assume leadership positions in the fields of sales, marketing, and customer service in a variety of economic sectors. The program seeks to give students deeper insights and a practice-oriented approach to sales and marketing through alumni mentoring and a strong faculty basis in the sales and marketing function.

TAPMI offers scholarships totaling INR 2.9 crores to deserving students. The Dr. Ramdas Pai Merit Scholarship program offers scholarships to over 50 students worth a combined INR 2.4 crore.

Enrollment in the PGP Program

A graduate degree from an accredited university with at least 50% of the possible points; final-year students are also eligible. If they graduate with less than a 50 percent grade point average, their admission will be terminated).

TAPMI uses “profile-based shortlisting” for candidates who have more than 20 months of work experience as of March 31, 2022. Shortlisting criteria for the profile include
Current CAT, XAT, and GMAT scores (whichever is higher)
scholastic standing (10th, 12th, Graduation, Overall academic performance, etc.)
Work history (type of company, total experience in months, etc.)
Extracurricular achievements (State, National, or International).

In the shortlisting process, the Statement of Purpose is essential.

The shortlists for each program are distinct from one another. Shortlisting for one program does not ensure shortlisting for another program for applicants who have applied to more than one program.

Students will get an email notification of the to shortlist choice at the email address on file.

Admissions process, Stage II

The English Proficiency Test (EPT), Moderated Group Discussion (MGD), and Personal Interview make up Stage II of the TAPMI admissions procedure (PI).
First, the English Proficiency Test (EPT) EPT evaluates the applicant’s reading, writing, and listening comprehension of the English language.
Moderated Group Discussions (MGD): The purpose of moderated group discussions is to assess an applicant’s capacity to contribute to and engage within a group. The MGD tests applicants’ abilities in problem-solving, assertiveness, collaboration, persuasion, and communication. The subjects for MGD will be determined by current events and recent debates. The faculty panel will moderate the conversation and there will be a cap of six applications per group in the next process.
Personal Interview (PI): TAPMI wants to know the applicant’s attitude toward management education, hence it conducts personal interviews. To be safe, the same TAPMI will also perform behavioral personal interviews. TAPMI will assess an applicant’s capacity for leadership, communication, self-management, social awareness, and self-awareness.

Last Decision

The candidate is ultimately chosen based on their performance on the entrance exam, as well as their academic background, employment history, EPT score, MGD score, and PI score. We’ll give more specifics later.
