Management Quota Engineering Admission in MIT Manipal. BTech is the abbreviated version of Bachelor of Technology, an undergraduate degree conferred after the completion of a skill-intensive, 4-year academic course. Students who have completed Class XII Science with a mandatory percentage, are eligible to apply.

The Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) offers 18 BTech programs in streams including Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical, Mechanical, Data Science, Building Science, and Chemical Engineering.

The duration of the BTech program is a minimum of 4 years (8 semesters), during which, students will need to earn 170 credits in order to qualify for the degree. Eligibility Criteria/Cut-off for Admissions 2022

With more than 300 disciplines, Manipal University offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses. They offer programs in numerous fields and almost all the desired aspects; a university-conducted online test known as MET is Manipal University’s online entrance test, which does not have any negative marking. Each correct answer will be allotted one mark.

For most of the courses offered at Manipal University, the admissions are based on the MET score. For the rest of the other classes, academic merit and national-level entrance score is mandatory. Based on NATA score admissions to B.Arch. It is also provided for medical-related courses and programs. NEET is compulsory, and based on that selection process takes place.

Candidates must be aware of admission dates and which entrance exam admission to that particular course. The necessary qualification is required for any course to apply. It is necessary to clear 12^th grade for all U.G. courses with minimum marks from a related discipline or branch.

Also, the admissions are based on merit in graduation and entrance exam scores for all P.G. courses. The marks or values are not enough to seek admission, candidates also need to have appeared for related entrance exams and scores.

Slot Booking for MET 2023 will be through an Online Test Slot Booking System (OTBS) which will open 2 weeks before MET 2023.
All slot bookings are done on a first come first serve basis and are subject to the availability of slots
A Slot once booked cannot be changed. Requests for a change of date/slot will NOT be entertained under any circumstances. Hence, you are requested to book your slot, avoiding all other Central / State / Competitive Entrance Tests

By default, MET 2023 Test fee (Rs.1,400) is collected along with the application fee at the time of Online Application submission. If a particular MET 2023 has a second attempt (which is optional), an additional fee has to be paid at the time of booking the 2nd attempt slot.
MAHE has every right to change the Test Date / Slot under unforeseen circumstances (if any). In such a situation, a new date/slot will be informed to the candidates. We request all candidates cooperate
