VIT Vellore Engineering Admission Process

In order to get Admission into VIT Vellore, first of all, you should have a least 60% marks in PCM in your Class 12^th Standard or equivalent exam, if you’re in the final year and appearing in Class 12^th Exams or 10+2 Exam, then also you will get admission to VIT Vellore after passing but the condition remains same.

And you must appear in the VITEEE conducted by VIT University itself, which is compulsory without appearing for VITEEE you can’t get admission to any campus of VIT University, no matter how good your marks are in 10+2 or Class 12^th.

If your VITEEE rank is high and you’re not getting your desired Engineering Stream or desired VIT University campus then you can try with a higher category fee in which you might get your desired engineering stream at your dream VIT University Campus.

VITEEE Counselling 2022 Process

The counseling procedure for allocating different branches of engineering is based on the All India Rank in VITEEE 2022. Eligible students must register for counseling on the website of VIT. Only the registered aspirants can attend the VITEEE Counselling 2022 round. You have to download your provisional letter for counseling from the official website.

Candidates must follow the below steps to participate in VITEEE Counselling :

1: Registration

Candidates have to Register for VITEEE Counselling and reach you on time at your counseling center.
Candidates will be informed through SMS or email about the schedule of VITEEE Counselling

2: Document Verification

Visit the required VITEEE Counselling Centre will all the required documents.
Only after the successful verification of documents, you will be considered for further steps.

3: Seat Allotment

Slot and day-wise vacant seats will be updated by VIT.
Candidates will be allotted seats as per their VITEEE rank, preference of course and college, and the number of available seats. Allotment of branch and Campus is final and cannot be changed under any circumstances.
The candidate must decide for certain whether he wants to join the program based on the branch allotted to him before paying the fees.

4: Fees Payment

After the confirmation of a seat from the counseling authority, you have to confirm your seat by paying the course fees.

Auditoriums & Conference Facilities

Our university firmly believes in providing its student’s exposure to national and international knowledge experts, through regular national and international conferences/symposia and workshops hosted on campus. It is with this view that a wide choice of modern conference facilities has been meticulously planned and incorporated into the VIT campus.

‘Anna Audi ‘commonly used by students is nothing short of a marvel. Able to accommodate 1800 students and spread over an area of 15436 sq. feet, it has been built with centralized air conditioners, Wi-fi service, and a spectacular stage along with green rooms and a perfect amount of lighting. This auditorium is used for various events and conferences.

It is located beside the volleyball and basketball courts and serves as a landmark in VIT.

IT Infrastructure

Centre for Technical Support (CTS) maintains the policies governing the use of VIT computing and IT communication resources. The IT Policy applies to the resources administered by the administrative departments such as the Library, Computer Laboratories, Offices of the Institution, Hostels, and Guest houses wherever the network facility was provided by the Institution.

Further, all the faculty, students, staff, departments, authorized visitors/visiting faculty, and others who may be granted permission to use the IT Infrastructure, and must comply with the guidelines. Certain violations of IT policy laid down by VIT by any institution member may even result in disciplinary action against the offender by the institution authorities.

Sports Facilities

To achieve a healthier lifestyle while coping with the pressures of studying, one needs to be healthy both emotionally and physically. With this motto, VIT emphasizes the importance of sports and considers them an integral part of the curriculum. VIT has a number of centers for physical education and sports activities that help the students maintain fitness and develop a competitive spirit. Its numerous outdoor playgrounds and indoor courts are spread over a 20-acre area.

Canteen

VIT has been amply blessed with three fully equipped multi-cuisine canteens present at three strategic locations in the college. Two at the far ends of the college, one each in G D Naidu Block and the Silver Jubilee Tower and one more at the center of the college near the Technology Tower. All three canteens are on a contract basis with external caterers and provide quality food at student-friendly prices. Hosting a wide array of cuisines and dishes, they cater to the needs of students from every corner of the country providing them with home-style food with no compromise on the quality.

Smart Classrooms

The smart classrooms are well-designed to incorporate everything needed for a pleasant learning atmosphere. The wide spacious classrooms contain a whiteboard and a projector that is used for teaching. As a result, professors can switch to different modes of teaching as and when required so that the teaching isn’t monotonous and the lectures are put across in the best way possible. This hi-tech equipment enables the faculty to conduct classes in a way that enables students to make use of every available resource at the click of a button. These classrooms are also often used for seminars and events from time to time.
