Vellore Institute of Technology was established in 1984, approved by UGC, and accredited with an A ++ Grade by NAAC, MHRD. Being a private deemed-to-be university, the VIT Vellore is ranked 173 under the QS Asia World University category by QS World University Rankings 2023. VIT University, through 15 schools of study, offers UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses to students across the Management, Engineering, Science, and other streams. VIT Vellore comprises three other campuses located in Bhopal, Chennai, and Amravati, and is run and managed by the VIT Group of Institutes. VIT also has VIT Online Learning Institute which offers online courses to students.
VIT Vellore campus is spread across a vast area of 250 acres. A striking feature of VIT Vellore is the well-planned and comprehensive infrastructure provided for both students and faculty. Eligibility Criteria
UG Courses: Students should go the 12th or Its equal examination from a recognized board, Direct Admission in VIT Vellore Management Quota Admission 2024
- 10+2 or Higher Secondary Exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), or The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE).
- Two Year Pre-University exam or Intermediate conducted by a recognized Board/University.
- International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva or High School Certificate Exam of Cambridge University.
- General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
- Candidates from NIOS will also be eligible for VITEEE 2023.
- Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category and hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/Ladakh and the North-Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Nagaland, and Tripura will be eligible with 46% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
Admission
- Candidates are advised to fill out the VITEEE application form 2023 before the last date.
- Applicants who fill out the application form before the last date will be able to download the VITREE admit card 2023 a few days before the exam.
- VITEEE 2023 exam comprises 100 questions.
- VITEEE syllabus and exam pattern for their preparations.
- The exam authority will release the VITEEE result a few days after the conclusion of the exam.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for the counseling/admission process later.

All candidates having their names in the VITEEE 2023 rank list will have to log in and fill in choices of course and college during registration.
The allotment of seats will be on the basis of the rank list and the choices made by candidates during registration. To confirm the seat allotted, candidates will also be required to submit 50% of the admission fee during VITEEE 2023 counseling.

VIT Vellore offers scholarships to B.Tech students under the “GV School Development Programme”.
