Electronics and Communication Engineering

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) was started in the year 2000. The primary aim of the department is to create efficient engineers proficient in the domains related to Electronics and Communication Engineering for a successful career in the service of society.

Eligibility

A pass in the 2nd PUC/ 12th Grade/Equivalent Exam with English as one of the Languages with a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics/Computers (40% for reserved category candidates). Candidates must also have taken up the CET/COMED-K/JEE entrance tests and possess valid ranks/scores.

Students having completed three-year diploma programs, with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC) are eligible for lateral entry into the second year (3rd semester), and having taken up the DCET entrance tests with valid scores/ranks.

B.E. Information Science and Engineering

The Department of Information Science & Engineering was established in the year 2000 and offers an undergraduate program where students learn core computer aspects such as software, networking, programming, operating systems, web development, and database management. The program also lets students master aspects such as the Internet of Things (IoT), cyber forensics, artificial intelligence, biometric management, and software development.

Candidate must also qualify in one of the following entrance exams: CET/ COMED-K/JEE/AIEEE.
