The Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST) a charitable trust was founded by Sri. M.C. Shivananda Sarma, in the year 1940, when education was a privilege in pre-independent India. The mission of the founder was to ‘Impart Quality Education to all strata of the society’. RSST manages several educational institutions from Kindergarten to Professional colleges in Bengaluru. Sri Meda Kasturi Ranga Shetty, a businessman & philanthropist joined hands together to pull this movement forward. Today six decades later, RSST through the RV (Rashtriya Vidyalaya) institutions, are in the forefront among providers of quality education in the state of Karnataka. This Charitable institution has more than 350 member trustees, who every three years elect a 28 members board to oversee the activities of the trust and various institutions. The Department of Library and information center was established in 1963 and currently has three technical staff – library science professionals and five non-technical staff. The library has a vast collection of books, reference books, bound volumes, technical national and international journals, e- books, e-journals, encyclopedias and other multimedia resources, document collection volume is 172639. The library subscribes to 233 technical journals, 23 technical magazines, and 15 daily newspapers, including English and Kannada.

BTech (Bachelor of Technology)– The Bachelor of Technology course is designed to provide students with a broad-based knowledge of engineering principles and practices. Students are exposed to various engineering aspects including mechanical, electrical, chemical, civil, computer science, manufacturing, industrial systems, materials, environmental, and life sciences.

Eligibility Criteria:

10th std: Minimum 70% marks in Science & Mathematics subjects separately.
11th std: Minimum 65% marks in Maths & Physics subjects separately
12th std: if results are announced, a minimum of 60% in Physics & Mathematics subjects separately.
Candidate should compulsorily appear and have obtained a rank in Karnataka CET or ComedK or JEE Mains

Entrance Exam:

1. ComedK is conducted for B.E admission in Karnataka Unaided private engineering colleges.
2. 30% of the total seats in RVCE are reserved for all state students including Karnataka students.
3. COMED-K conducts offline entrance tests for 30% merit seats admission in RV College of Engineering.
4. The cut-off rank for RVCE through the COMEDK exam varies for all different programs.
5. RV College’s annual tuition fees through the COMEDK exam is two lakh per annum.
6. The hostel accommodation charge is 1 Lakh 20 thousand per annum.
7. You also have to pay 40 thousand per annum as a miscellaneous fee apart from the annual tuition fee
