THE BEGINNING

Selection process in MSRIT M S Ram-ayah Institute of Technology (MSRIT) was started in 1962 by Late Dr M S Ram-ayah, our Founder Chairman who was a renowned visionary, philanthropist, and a pioneer in creating several landmark infrastructure projects in India.

Noticing the shortage of talented engineering professionals required to build a modern India, Dr. M S Ram-ayah envisioned MSRIT as an institute of excellence imparting quality and affordable education.
Part of Goulka Education Foundation, MSRIT has grown over the years with significant contributions from various professionals in different capacities, ably led by Dr. M S Ram-ayah himself, whose personal commitment has seen the institution through its formative years.
Today, MSRIT stands tall as one of India’s finest names in Engineering Education and has produced around 35,000 engineering professionals who occupy responsible positions across the globe.

Management Quota Admission

It is one of the top colleges in Bangalore. The management quota admission generally starts in February.

MSRIT takes a one-time development fee in the form of a demand draft that is a different amount for each branch. The Tuition fees for all the branches will be the same, only the Development fees will be different.

Direct Admission

Direct Admission in MSRIT through management quota will be generally based on 12th or 2nd PU marks which should be minimum 45% in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).

Fees per annum will be the same two and half lakhs for direct admission in any branch of engineering for Direct admission in MSRIT, Bangalore. hostel fees are extra.

Eligibility Criteria/Cut-off for Admissions 2023

MSRIT Institute of Technology is popularly known as MSRIT, started in the year 1962. It is an autonomous private engineering college located in the educational hub that is Bangalore City. MSRIT is a part of the Gokula Education Foundation. MSRIT is the best among engineering institutions under VTU affiliation. In NIRF 2020 Rankings, it has secured 59^th position for B Tech. In India Today 2020 Rankings, it has secured 27^th Rank for B Tech. NAAC accredits MSRIT with an ‘A’ Grade. Today, MSRIT stands as one of the finest engineering colleges in India. Most of the students aspire to complete their studies in MSRIT.

Currently, MSRIT offers BTech and B Arch at the UG level. MBA, M Tech, and MCA at the PG Level. Admission at MSRIT Institute, offered based on entrance exam scores.

MSRIT offers multiple courses at UG and PG level. These courses are offered in the field of Science, Engineering and Technology, Management Studies, Computer Applications, and Architecture.
These courses are offered under various streams and specializations.
Admission in the UG and PG courses at MSRIT is entrance exam-based.
MSRIT offers B.E. and B. Arch programs at the UG level.
At the PG level, MSRIT offers M.Tech, MCA, and MBA programs.

MSRIT B Tech Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for admission in the B.E. course must pass the eligibility criteria. Candidates must have passed 10+2 or any equivalent exam from a recognized university. The mandatory subjects should be Mathematics and Physics along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology as optional subjects.

Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% marks in aggregation. For the SC/ST and OBC students, aggregate marks are 40%.
