Ramaiah Institute of Technology is a self-financing institution established in Bangalore in the year 1962 by the industrialist and philanthropist, Late Dr. M S Ramaiah. MSRIT offers 13 UG and 15 PG programmes, which are affiliated with Visveswaraya Technological University (VTU). MSRIT obtained Academic Autonomy (approved by VTU and UGC) for all its UG and PG Programmes from the year 2007. M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology is continuously ranking 59th among the top 100 Engineering Colleges across India as per the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), MHRD, Government of India. All the eligible Programmes have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology has been accredited with an ‘A+’ grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). All the departments in the Institute are recognized as research centers from VTU to pursue MSc (Eng.) and Ph.D. All the departments have competent faculty with around 60% of them having doctorates. All research departments are active with sponsored projects and about 315 scholars are pursuing PhD. The institute has received more than 10 crores of external funding for various research projects in the last 5 years. MSRIT has collaborated with more than sixty Industries and Institutes across the globe. Boeing International Corporation, USA has established its Research Centre at MSRIT. The Centre for Advanced Training and Continuing Education and Entrepreneurship Development Cell has been set up on campus. MSRIT has a strong Placement and Training Department with a committed team and the placement is more than 90%. MSRIT Alumni have distinguished themselves by occupying high positions in India and abroad and have contact with the Institute through an active Alumni Association. MSRIT hosts a fully equipped Sports Department, a large air-conditioned Library with over two lakh books with subscriptions to more than 300 International and National Journals.

Knowledgeable and friendly. Faculties were highly qualified and friendly. Most of the faculties have their Ph.D. in their area. They are very friendly too. Students have very good access to reach out to them at any moment of our campus life. They were very helpful in assisting us during our research too.

Semester Exam Result 2023. How to Check?

MSRIT conducts the semester-end examination for the odd semester in the month of January whereas the semester-end examination for the even semester is conducted in the month of June. The result of the semester-end exams is published on the official website of the university. Students can check their result by following these steps:

Navigate to the ‘Examination’ tab on the menu bar
Click on ‘Results’ from the drop-down menu
On the next page, scroll down and search for the ‘Circular and Results’ section
Under the section, click on the ‘Results’ link
You will be redirected to a new result page which will show all the recently released results
Enter your University Seat No. (USN) and click on Go
The next page will show your subject-wise result
Save/Print it for future use
