VIT Eligibility Criteria & Admission Process

For engineering admission in VIT, Vellore, here are the Eligibility Criteria:-

The candidate needs to pass the higher education examination from a recognized board.
The candidates would need to have Physics, chemistry, and mathematics as a compulsory subject.
The candidate would need to score a minimum of 60% marks to be eligible for the admission
Furthermore, the students would need to sit in the VITEEE examination and they must have a valid score in that.

The selection process for an engineering course in VIT, Vellore

The selection process in VIT, Vellore would be based on the entrance marks score secured in VITEEE examination.
The institute will start counseling in batches based on the VITEEE rank and then the further allotment of the branches would be done by the institution.

There are wide ranges of facilities that are offered by the institution. Some of them have been mentioned below: –

Hostel

VIT Vellore campus consists of 23 hostels in which 17 hostels are for boys while 6 hostels are for girls. There is gym as well as a swimming pool facility that is available in the hostel premises.

Gym

VIT Vellore is equipped with excellent gym facilities that are available for the students. Apart from that, the gym also has very quality gym instructors who are available round the clock to assist the students in terms of training. In addition, there is separate gym timing for both boys and girls.

Multi-Purpose mall

The institute has got a multipurpose mall that provides the students with different clothing, mattresses, and accessories.

Library

The university has got a well-stocked library that offers an extensive collection of journals, books, newspaper, paper etc.

Modern classrooms

The institution has got a modern classroom with LCD projectors as well as audio-video equipment. Apart from that, the internet bandwidth of 1540 MPPS is also available within the classrooms and hostel blocks that are available for students, faculty, and staff.

Sports Facility

Sports are considered to be an integral part of the university. There is a number of outdoor as well as indoor games that are played in the institution. The students are encouraged to participate in a various interstate sports facility. Some of the sports that are played in the institution are Cricket, Football, basketball, Hockey, tennis, table tennis etc.
