Eligibility Criteria/Cut-off

With more than 300 disciplines, Manipal University offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses. They offer programs in numerous fields and almost all the desired aspects; a university-conducted online test known as MU OET is Manipal University’s online entrance test, which does not have any negative marking. Each correct answer will be allotted one mark.

For most of the courses offered at Manipal University, the admissions are based on the MU OET score. For the rest of the classes, academic merit and national-level entrance scores are mandatory. Based on NATA score, admissions to B.Arch. It is also provided for medical-related courses and programs. NEET is compulsory, and based on that selection process takes place.

Candidates must be aware of admission dates and which entrance exam admission to that particular course. The necessary qualification is required for any course to apply. It is necessary to clear 12^th grade for all U.G. courses with a minimum of marks from a related discipline or branch. Also, the admissions are based on merit in graduation and entrance exam scores for all P.G. courses. The marks or values are not enough to seek admission; candidates also need to have appeared for related entrance exams and have scores.

The MUJ campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled and boasts of a large, 120-PC Central Computing Facility. The academic process is completely automated, with an Academic Management System in place.

The spacious and state-of-the-art Library at MUJ is adequately stocked with the requisite number of references and textbooks, a large number of national and international journals, e-books, and e-journals. Students and faculty are given online access to many e-books/courses, from Pearson, NPTEL, etc. Many indoor and outdoor facilities are available to students for sports, cultural and technical activities outside the classroom, through various Student Clubs.

The sports facilities include TT, carom, football, tennis, badminton, squash, and cricket, throw the ball, kabaddi, etc. The Music and Dramatics Clubs facilitate students to improve their creativity and show their skills in the cultural arena, under the able guidance of the faculty.

Technical Clubs like the Green Club, Robotics Club, IEEE Students’ Chapter, ICEIT chapter, etc., allow the students to learn and update themselves with the latest technologies and showcase their abilities in various fields, outside their scope of study. The Student Activity Area (SAC) and the Amphitheatre are places where students think, imagine, connect, reflect, network, and innovate.
