History

Admission BTech KSIT 2025. The Kammavari Sangham, a multi-activity non-profit-oriented voluntary service organization, was established in the year 1952 with the sole objective of providing charitable service to the community and society.

The Sangham has diversified its activities since its establishment over five decades ago. With a firm belief that quality and meaningful education can only lay the strong foundation for bringing about economic and social changes to the lives of thousands, the Sangham went about establishing educational institutions, starting with K.S. Polytechnic in 1992. Enthused with this success of its foray into technical education, the Sangham moved forward by starting the K.S Institute of Technology (KSIT).

It’s Engineering College in the year 1999. In the following years, both these institutions have carved for themselves an enviable niche through academic excellence achieved in a very short period.
By providing FREE hostel accommodation and scholarships to the deserving students in the community, it has furthered its Commitment to education.
Apart from the educational initiatives, on the cultural front, the Sangham has ventured to build and manage Convention centers. These serve as venues for community cultural events including conducting of mass marriages among the economically underprivileged in the Kamma Community.
Towards encouraging and nourishing entrepreneurial trait among the community members, the Sangham also started Kammavari Credit Co-operative Society to mobilize deposits and finance enterprises. Furthermore, to be of service to the sick and the suffering, the Sangham has established a modern hospital in Bangalore with the latest diagnostic and treatment services.
K. S. Institute of Technology, KSIT in short, was born on 11th October 1999, out of a commitment to the cause of providing value based technical education. Its strength lies in its founding objectives, the eminence of its management who are experienced men drawn from various fields, the coming together of dedicated, experienced and well qualified teaching staff, the establishment of a modern infrastructure with state-of-art equipment and laboratory facilities and the interactive relationship its forged with the industry.
Excellent academic performance in the University examinations in all the years so far gives us the impetus to embark upon post graduate programmes and the establishment of a research cell in the near future. Library

Admission BTech KSIT 2025. Library occupied a place of Pride in K.S. Institute of Technology and is Essential component of the Institute outstanding educational activities. It is a resource centre for teaching, learning and research.
Being the heart of the academic centre, it is home for all the information services. It plays a proactive role in enabling access to information resources of all kind and providing innovative, responsive and effective services to meet the changing needs of the academic community.
The library is spread over two floors with 9500 sq. ft. and a seating capacity of 200. On the First floor are the Circulation counter, Stack Area, Technical processing section, Librarian office, and new arrival section. In the Second floor Reference Section, Digital Library, Reading Room, Discussion room, Journals section and Newspaper section. The library holds a collection of printed as well as electronic resources, which includes books, journals, project reports, bound volumes, previous year question papers, CD’s, course materials, e-books and e-journals, etc.
The library operations are automated using LIBSOFT Software. The online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) enables users to search all materials (such as Books, Journals, Magazines, Digital material, etc). Available in the library collection. A separate Digital library is provided in the library to access e-resources. Experiential Learning

Students are taken to Industrial visits and they are encouraged to go for Inplant trainings. Design oriented experiments / mini projects / open ended experiments are included in the laboratory syllabi to improve the design thinking and help students to have an experience on various problems related to the course they are studying.

A group of elective / open elective courses are included with practical component so that every student gets an experience of practical learning in the domain of his choice once during the program. 8 weeks Internship is mandatory for every student in R2018, Students are also permitted to do online internships during the pandemic. During the pandemic virtual laboratories are used for doing experiments wherever possible. Faculty also demonstrated the experiments through recorded videos with necessary explanations.
