What’s the difference between Welingkar Bangalore and Mumbai? Management Quota Admission for MBA in Welingkar. It’s difficult to club Welingkar Bangalore and Mumbai in the same category.

While Welingkar Mumbai is the flagship B-school of the Welingkar Mumbai family, Welingkar Mumbai Bangalore is one of the newest and the one they are marketing heavily to take advantage of Bangalore’s business environment.

For now, Welingkar Mumbai is miles ahead of Bangalore and is garnering decent placements through their old but good alumni base. It’s a B-school with typical tier-2 placements (little of finance, marketing, and more of IT consulting and sales) which is a step behind the IIMs and SP Jains and FMSs but one of the better ones among the other tier 2s.

There is a management quota and placements of the last few students of the batch is always questionable but top placements have been pretty good. Not so sure about Welingkar Bangalore but it’s best to be avoided till they establish themselves more.
