Possibility to Get Direct Admission in RVCE Students of the first year, who are selected to represent the VTU team are given blazers. For the second time of representation, they are given a cash prize of Rs 2,500.00, in the third year Rs.3000.00, and Fourth year Rs.3500.00 from the university.
Students who win in the Inter-university competitions are given a cash award of Rs. 12000.00 for First place, and Rs. 10000.00 for obtaining second place. The Third-place and fourth-place winners are given Rs.7500.00 and Rs.1000.00 respectively.

Karnataka CET or OK-CET Entry Examination

This examination body is in charge of 45% of all the available seats in RV College of Engineering for Karnataka state trainees. COMED-K Entrance examination

They should have passed their 12^th class with scores that are higher than 45% in physics, chemistry, and mathematics (which are compulsory subjects).

Admission Procedure

Entrance Test– This test is held once a year. The test is conducted in three parts. The first part is objective-type multiple-choice questions. The second part is descriptive-type essay writing. The third part is a group discussion.
Personal Interview– In this interview, the candidate is questioned about his/her academic background, personality, hobbies, etc. The interviewer observes the Behaviour of the candidate while he/she answers the questions. Based on the observations, the interviewer decides whether the candidate should be admitted into the college or not.
