About GIM
Management Quota MBA Admission in GIM GOA. From a small beginning in 1993, with 6 faculty members, teaching a single class with an intake of 24 students in a rented premise, we have grown to 75+ full-time faculty members, six courses with an intake of over 900 full-time students, and a 50-acre campus with world-class infrastructure. We are fortunate to have had Late Fr. Romuald D’Souza as our founding Director. The institute has grown under his visionary leadership from strength to strength.

Programmes Offered by GIM
GIM Goa offers 2 years of full-time PGDM programmes in four streams:
- Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Health Care Management (PGDM -HCM)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Big Data Analytics (PGDM-BDA)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Banking, Insurance & Financial Services (PGDM-BIFS)
Eligibility
Applications for Admission to full-time PGDM programmes are invited from graduates. Shortlisted candidates are invited for further evaluation.
- Minimum 50% aggregate in Bachelor’s Degree*Candidates who will complete all requirements for the degree by June 6, 2022, may also apply. Candidates in the last year of their degree should have obtained a minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST category) in the latest examination.
- Must have taken/ appeared for any one of the following:
- XAT 2022
- CAT 2021
- GMAT taken between 1st January 2020 to 17th January 2022
- CMAT 2022
Selection Criteria
- Objective assessment (based on XAT, CAT, GMAT or CMAT score)40%
- Past Academic Records 15%
- Work experience, if any 10%
- Face-to-face evaluation 30%
- Profile Assessment Index 5%
* For selection for the face-to-face evaluation process, the qualifying cut-off score will be lowered by 15 percentile points for candidates of Goan domicile/origin. Documentary evidence of domicile will have to be uploaded at the time of submitting the application.

Hostel Fees
First-year students are allotted double occupancy rooms. 2nd-year students are allotted single occupancy rooms.
Refundable Caution Deposit – ₹25,000
The Caution Deposit will be refunded to the student after he/she has left the Institute, and upon verification that no dues are standing against his/her name.
An amount of Rs.5000/- (Rupees five thousand only) will be deducted from the refundable caution deposit on graduation and credited as a membership fee to the GIM Alumni Association.

There is 100% positioning with the biggest wage of 17 LPA in PGDM. Companies from all verticals of healthcare, i.e., medication, medical gadgets, medical centers, insurance, etc. visit for positioning. Even for the internship, there are perfect options to choose from.
Faculty
Instructors are very experienced and beneficial. Projectors and forums are used for educating. Each section has 60 students. There are often going to staff from the market for communications. Field visits are done every Thursday to understand the functioning of the industry.
Infrastructure
The college infrastructure is awesome. It is the best in the class infrastructure with an awesome swimming pool. It is also the best in the classroom and is an excellent place to be in. The library is excellent, and the hostel facilities are also good.
MBA Exams for GIM
The Goa Institute of Management (GIM) chooses students because of ratings properly secured by an applicant in XAT, CAT, CMAT, or GMAT. Different courses have different selection processes and students will have excellent efficiency in either of the exams described above and get an advantage in the process. You can also apply for direct admission to the Goa Institute of Management (GIM) under the NRI/management quota seat in PGDM.

Q. Do I need to send exam (CAT/XAT/ CMAT) scores to GIM?
No. GIM does not accept exam scores from candidates. Scores are got from IIM, XLRI, AICTE.
Q. What is Early Bird?
GIM charges lower application fees for early applications and higher application fees closer to the final deadline. If you make a smart choice, you pay roughly half of what you pay if you wait till the last day.
Q. Are there any reservations for Goan candidates?
There are no reservations for Goan candidates but for selection for the Group Discussion and Individual Interview, the qualifying cut-off score of the competitive exam will be lowered by 15 points for candidates of Goan domicile/origin.
