About College

Direct BBA Admission in Christ University. “CHRIST (Deemed to be University) was established as ‘Christ College’ in 1969. It undertook path-breaking initiatives in Indian higher education with the introduction of innovative and modern curricula, insistence on academic discipline, imparting of Holistic Education, and adoption of global higher education practices with the support of creative and dedicated staff.”

The University Grants Commission (UGC) of India conferred Autonomy to Christ College in 2004 and identified it as an Institution with Potential for Excellence in 2006. In 2008 under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India, declared the institution a Deemed to be University, in the name and style of Christ University. One of the first institutions in India to be accredited in 1998 by the NAAC, and subsequently in 2004 and 2016, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) has the top grade ‘A’ on the 4-point scale.

Eligibility

PUC/12th Pass
Eligibility for the programme is a pass with a minimum of 70% at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / State Boards) in the Commerce stream from any recognized Board in India.
Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May 2023 may apply with their class X and XI marks.
Students pan pursuing an International curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations:
Applicants pursuing an IB curriculum must have 3 HL and 3 SL with 24 credits.
Applicants pursuing GCE / Edexcel must have a minimum of 3 A levels with a grade not less than C.

Application Process

Applicants may apply online for the programme from January 2023 on the University website until applications officially close.

Applications for each programme will close approximately a week before the scheduled selection process.

All applicants must visit the page: https://app.christuniversity.in and register by entering NAME (as printed on Class 10 Marks Card), EMAIL-ID and set a password. (The email id and mobile number provided will be used for sending confirmation and application status-update messages). An applicant can apply for as many programmes using the same ID as long as the prescribed eligibility criteria for the specific programme is fulfilled.

Applicants must have the following documents before filling out the application online:

Copy of statement of marks of class 10 and class 11 final report or class 12 Board result (Mandatory).
Fill in all the details in the “detailed application” page. Scan and upload a recent passport-size photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms formal dress with white background not more than 100 kb) and click “Submit”. On clicking Submit, a viewable and editable page will appear on the screen. In case you need to make any corrections; you may edit the data/details and then click “Confirm Submission”.
Applicants will have the option to choose the selection process venue and date, before making the payment for the application.
Payment may be made through card/UPI/net banking. After successful payment, click on submit. A 9 (Nine) digit Application number will be generated. If unable to print the application form due to system/power/internet failure, log on to https://app.christuniversity.in, under the “Application Status” page enter the registered Email-ID and password to view and print the application form.

(After payment if you do not receive the 9 (Nine) digit application number, then your application process is incomplete, and payment will go in for the refund process. The refund will take about 15 working days and must be checked with your bank).

Candidates falling under any of these categories (PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN / OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS) must send the required supporting documents (Copy of Passport, Copy of PIO / OCI card whichever is applicable and a Copy of Class 10 and Class 11/12 Marks card) in an A4 size Envelope ONLY through Registered Post / Courier to The Co-ordinator, Office of International Affairs, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Hosur Road, Bengaluru – 560 029, Karnataka, India, Phone: +91 80 4012 9439.

Kindly take a print of the application form and keep it for reference.
All applicants must make a note of the username, password, application number of the programme applied for and the selection process date for all further purposes.
The Important Dates section must be referred to before filling out the application, or candidates can choose the selection process venue and dates while filling out the application online.
No request for a change of date will be entertained.
The selection process will be conducted on the dates chosen (the start date of the process will be indicated in the application) while filling out the application or as announced by the office of admissions. Kindly upload all the qualification-related documents (class 10 and class 11/12), in the given link on your application status login page under the document upload tab within Five (5) days after submitting the application form online. Else your application will be rejected.

The Admit card for the programme will be updated ONE or TWO days before the scheduled process and can be accessed from http://app.christuniversity.in.
