Bhusanayana Mukundadas Sreenivasaiah Institution of Engineering (BMSCE), also known as B.M.S. College of Engineering, is a private engineering college in Basavanagudi, Bangalore. The college was founded by Bhusanayana Mukundadas Sreenivasaiah in 1946 and the B.M.S Educational Trust is in charge of its administration. BTech Study in BMSCE by Management Quota. BMSCE offers a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) / Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree at the undergraduate level. The basic eligibility is having passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination. B.E. degrees have a 4-year duration. The BTech/B.E. degree is offered in 18 specializations. Boys Hostel

The BMS Education Trust looks after the proper functioning of the hostels. It appoints wardens at all 5 units that are created inside the campus for managing proper discipline and administration in the campus. There are 2 boy’s hostels. All the units of the hostel have a warden’s office along with facilities like a TV lounge, spacious rooms with a solar water heater in each unit, playgrounds, volleyball court, power backup, washing machine, or water, gymnasium, 24×7 wi-fi facilities, two-wheeler parking, etc.

Girls Hostel

There are three hostels for the girls’ students. The college has tie-ups with 5 units outside the college campus wherein it has provisioned accommodation for students. When it comes to imparting knowledge to students the most vital role is played by the library and the central library of the BMSCE does no different with a subscription to about 175 printed journals, 7,500 e-journals, 21,000 plus e-books, 1,50,000 plus volumes with more than 47,000 titles 11 e-resources, a tech focus digital software to access the digital repositories of departments of the college.

Sports

BMSCE has not only created recreational facilities but also indoor as well as outdoor sports facilities for the students available on the campus. There are facilities for cricket, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, chess, football, squash, and many other plays that are held at the campus.

The data center is what the college is proud of having as it is the first data center of a college to have its own unique static IP address along with being a member of APNIC.
