XIMB MBA Eligibility

In order to meet the XIMB MBA eligibility criteria, an applicant must possess a strong and consistent academic background.

The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree of minimum three-year duration, with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA;
Candidates who expect to complete the final part of their degree examinations by June 15, 2022, can also apply.
Work experience is not mandatory for MBA program(s). However, relevant work experience after graduation will be an advantage.
The candidates need to have 3 plus years of relevant work experience after graduation for Executive MBA Program(s) to meet XIMB MBA eligibility criteria

XIMB MBA Admission Criteria 2022: Important Points & Step-by-Step Process

XIMB MBA Admission process and XIMB MBA cut-off are based on sectional as well as overall scores. According to Prof Bahinipati, “The Institute will decide the section-wise as well as total cut-off marks which will be used for short-listing the candidates to be called for Writing Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).” Here are the key highlights of XIMB Admission criteria 2022:

Acceptable Entrance Exams for XIMB MBA Admission 2022

XIMB will accept CAT 2021, XAT 2022, and GMAT (Taken in 2020 and 2021) exam scores to shortlist the candidates for the final selection round.
Besides, XIMB will conduct its own MBA entrance exam X-GMT (XIM General Management Aptitude Test). The X-GMT will be conducted at Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Mumbai, on 30 January 2022. An additional fee of Rs.1200/- for X-GMT will have to be paid.
If not opting for X-GMT, registering for XAT or CAT or GMAT is a prerequisite for applying to XIMB MBA-BM program
NMAT by GMAC 2021 scores are accepted for MBA-HRM, MBA-RM, MBA-SM, MBA-UMG, and MBF programs.

XIMB MBA Cut-Off for Shortlisting

XIM University, Bhubaneswar gives emphasis not only on entrance exam scores but also on Academic Profile, Work experience, and other parameters.
Candidates will be short-listed for the GD-WAT-PI round on the basis of their sectional and overall scores in the entrance exam after the declaration of the entrance exam result.
XIMB MBA cut-off or other B-schools cut-off of XIM University will be announced at the time of shortlisting. However, the XIMB MBA cut off as per the past trends may remain in the range of 85 to 90+ percentile.

XIMB MBA Admission 2022: Final Selection

Candidates short-listed on the basis of admission test (XAT, CAT, GMAT, or X-GMT) scores will be called for Group Discussion, Writing Ability Test, and Personal Interviews at Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, or Mumbai.
The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in XAT/CAT/GMAT/ X-GMT, GD, Writing Ability Test, & Personal Interview, and will take into account the past academic record and relevant work experience.

Xavier offers only MBA programs and the XIMB MBA PGDM no longer exists. Since XIMB is an integral part of Xavier University, Bhubaneswar, and offers UGC-recognized MBA degrees instead of PGDM, all the earlier XIMB MBA PGDM programs are now only MBA programs.
