Vice President presents Lal Bahadur Shastri National Award for Excellence to Director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Dr Randeep Guleria. The award ceremony was organized by Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Delhi at the Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Conference Hall in the Vice President House. Speaking on the occasion, the Vice-President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu said that “A big congratulation to Dr.Randeep Guleria for receiving the prestigious Lal Bahadur Shastri Award for Excellence, he is the rightful selection from jury members.

The medical profession is the noble profession and rightful selection for this prestigious award. “After receiving the award Dr.Guleria said, “I feel deeply humbled to receive this honourable Lal Bahadur Shastri National Excellence Award, a big thanks to jury members. Shastriji was a great leader and a role model for the new generation.
