About BBA:

The degree is designed to give a broad knowledge of the functional aspects of a company and their interconnection, while also allowing specialization in a particular area. B.B.A. programs thus expose students to a variety of “core subjects” and generally allow students to specialize in a specific academic area; see aside.

The degree also develops the student’s practical, managerial, and communication skills, and business decision-making capability. Many programs incorporate training and practical experience, in the form of case projects, presentations, internships, industrial visits, and interaction with experts from the industry.

General educational requirements emphasize humanities and social sciences (history, economics, and literature). Coverage of mathematics is generally business-related and is often limited to “Quantitative Applications for Business” or, alternatively, courses in Calculus for business or Calculus 101, and business- or general statistics.

Eligibility criteria for admissions in NMIMS Mumbai:

The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination including International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB Certificate / & D.P. Awarded candidates are not eligible) in any stream from a recognized board at the first attempt.
As per NPAT BBA Eligibility Criteria, a minimum of 60 percent aggregate marks at 10+2 or equivalent examination is compulsory.
Candidates passing in Mathematics and or Statistics at 10+2 or equivalent exam are eligible to apply for B.B.A
Candidates of CBSE, and ICSE, should mention in the online registration / e-admission form (if selected) 10+2 or equivalent aggregate marks of all the subjects for which the candidate has taken & appeared.
The candidate should have passed all the subjects taken & appeared for the applicable examination/s. The aggregate percentage of all subjects for which the candidate has taken or appeared will be taken into consideration for confirming the eligibility of the candidate for the program at the time of admission.
In case, the mark sheet issued by the applicable Board / Institution is in percentile/s, the actual aggregate percentage of all the subjects the candidate appeared in will be considered.
In order to appear for NPAT BBA, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria laid down by NMIMS University, Mumbai. NMIMS Programs After Twelfth for BBA or NPAT BBA is conducted for admissions in Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce.
The eligibility criteria of NPAT BBA states that the aspiring applicants should have passed or appeared in the Class 10+2 board exam or equivalent exam from a recognized board or conducting body. Although the candidates can pursue the 10+2 in any stream, for BBA aspirants, it is a must to have studied Mathematics or Statistics as compulsory subjects at this level.

What is NPAT Exam 2023?

NMIMS-NPAT 2023 is the UG admission test for NMIMS Programs after class 12 leading to admission in various bachelor’s degree courses including BBA. The NPAT BBA 2023 entrance exam offers admission opportunities in the management programs which are offered by constituent schools of SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (Deemed to be University) at Mumbai, Shirpur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Navi Mumbai, Indore & Dhule Campuses.

NPAT BBA exam is the official entrance test, conducted by NMIMS Mumbai university for admission to BBA, BBA+MBA, and other Undergraduate and Integrated Degree Programs offered by NMIMS. The admission opportunity through NPAT 2023 is available to BBA; BBA+MBA Integrated program at Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce (ASMSOC), NMIMS Mumbai.

NPAT was earlier known as NMAT- UG till 2015. After the NMAT exam was acquired by GMAC, the NMAT-UG was renamed as NMIMS NPAT which is conducted for admission to undergraduate programs like BBA, 5-year Integrated BBA+MBA, B.Sc Finance among other programs which are offered at NMIMS Mumbai, and its other campuses
