Management Quota BBA Admission in Symbiosis Pune. Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies (SCMS), Pune, set up in the year 2004, is a constituent Institute of Symbiosis International University. Eligibility for Admission (Indian Students)

Eligibility for BBA course: Passed XII or equivalent course in any discipline from any recognized Board / Council / University with a minimum of 50 0% marks for the general (open) category and 45% marks for students of SC and ST categories.

Qualifying for our center’s Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), Personal interview & Writing Ability Test. Indian students will be admitted on the basis of the merit list drawn out of the results of the selection process through SET and PIWAT (SET score 50% and PIWAT 50%)

As per BBA eligibility, Indian students will be admitted on the basis of the merit list drawn out of the results of the selection process through SET and PIWAT.

Indian Students: – Reservation of seats for Special Categories
The following are the reservation rules that shall be followed while admitting Indian students:

Scheduled Caste: 15%
Scheduled Tribe: 7.5%
Differently abled students: 3%
Kashmiri Migrants: 2 seats over and above the sanctioned intake.

DIFFERENTLY ABLED
A student having any of the following disabilities with a minimum of 40% of damages can claim admissions under this category. A certificate issued by a Medical Superintendent/ Civil Surgeon of a Government hospital has to be submitted in this regard. The disability certificate shall be verified/certified by Symbiosis Centre of Health Care (SCHC), Pune, for admission under this category.

SCMS Pune BBA Selection Criteria

The selection of candidates shall be strictly based on their performance in SET and PI-WAT.
It is mandatory to attend all components/tests of PI-WAT/ST-PI to be eligible for admission to any UG programs.
Only candidates who attend all components/tests of the selection process (PI-WAT/ST-PI) shall be considered as eligible for the generation of merit/wait/reject list.
Candidates who remain absent for any of the components/tests will be considered ineligible for the selection process of UG degree programs of SIU.

The candidates must submit the necessary documents at the time of PI-WAT.

Personal Interaction (PI)- It is a personal interaction/interview of a candidate with a panel of experts from Industries/Academics. That covers general awareness, extracurricular activities, academics and specific fields of interest, communication – skills and overall personality.

Written Ability Test (WAT) – The Test includes one PAT (Picture Association Test) and writing a short essay on a given topic (of general nature) as well as answering the questions related to the given topic.
