Vice President presents Lal Bahadur Shastri National Award for Excellence to Director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Dr Randeep Guleria. Hon’ble Vice-President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu presented the 22nd Lal Bahadur Shastri National Award for Excellence to Renowned Pulmonologist and Director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, Dr.Randeep Guleria. Dr Randeep Guleria receives the award in recognition of his outstanding work in the healthcare sector. The award ceremony was organized by Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Delhi at the Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Conference Hall in the Vice President House. Speaking on the occasion, the Vice-President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu said “A big congratulation to Dr.Randeep Guleria for receiving the prestigious Lal Bahadur Shastri Award for Excellence, he is the rightful selection from jury members. I salute all the doctors for playing a major role in saving the lives of people and the COVID-19 time they served the nation. The medical profession is the noble profession and rightful selection for this prestigious award. “After receiving the award Dr.Guleria said, “I feel deeply humbled to receive this honourable Lal Bahadur Shastri National Excellence Award 2021, a big thanks to jury members. Shastriji was a great leader and a role model for the new generation. All doctors have worked across the country to save a life during the pandemic and AIIMS Delhi becomes the first to fight COVID. Final Research Project of General PGDM

LBSIM MBA Entrance Process Management Quota. Final Research Project is a compulsory course carrying a maximum mark of 200 (equivalent to 6 credits). It commences in the middle of Trimester IV and is required to be completed in 5 months’ time, ending in January. FRP allows the exploration of a topic in the student’s “area” of interest. The course is guided by a faculty guide/mentor and provides an opportunity for the individual student to pursue research in the specific area(s) of interest in depth. The study is comprehensive and is an integration of several fields of study to search for a solution(s) to a single problem. The five-month period gives valuable experience in the research process like problem identification, problem definition, and systematic literature review, collection of relevant data, data analysis, and drawing conclusions. FRP gives an opportunity to students to take initiative and use cognitive and analytical skills to complete an individual project well beyond the regular curriculum. FRP process ends in the form of a report submission, a PowerPoint presentation before an external panel, and a viva voce.
