Great Lakes Institute of Management Direct Admission. Great Lakes offers the two-year full-time PGDM course at both campuses – Chennai and Gurgaon. The Great Lakes PGDM provides a globally benchmarked curriculum, world-class faculty, and a peer group from diverse domains, which transforms young professionals and high-performing graduates into Business Ready Managers. What is a PGDM course?

Great Lakes Institute of Management Direct Admission. PGDM stands for Post Graduate Diploma in Management – a two-year business management program that caters to industry requirements and helps management aspirants develop relevant hard skills and soft skills to transform into industry-ready management professionals. The reason why it is a Diploma program and not a Degree is the fact that only Universities governed by the University Grants Commission (UGC) are permitted to award Degrees. Private business schools are mainly governed by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and standalone ones can award diplomas instead of degrees. Is it equivalent to an MBA? Absolutely! We can safely say that PGDM programs add value beyond the regular MBA curriculum, and that is what highly demanding recruiters look for.

Eligibility for Great Lakes 2 years PGDM Program.

Students have to appear for CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT exams.
EXAMS score accepted by Great Lakes is, CAT taken in 2023/2024 GMAT taken after 1st January 2022, XAT taken in 2022/2023, or CMAT taken in 2022/2023. For 2023-25 Batches.
Students who have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60 % Marks in Class X, XII and Graduation can able to apply for the program.
Freshers and applicants who have less than 24 months of experience till the 30^th of June can only be eligible to apply for this program.
University/College Rank Holders and Scholars can get an extra advantage.

Eligibility Criteria – Admissions PGDM 2023 Intake

All applicants are required to appear for GMAT/CAT*/XAT⁺/CMAT before applying to the Great Lakes Institute of Management.
For PGDM 2023 Intake, Great Lakes Institute of Management will accept scores of GMAT taken after 1st January 2021, CAT taken in 2021/2022, XAT taken in 2022/2023 or CMAT taken in 2022/2023.
All applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution and a minimum 60% score across 10^th/12^th/Undergraduate.
Freshers and candidates with strictly less than 36 months of work experience as on 30th June 2023 ONLY are eligible to apply. (Candidates with 24-36 months of work experience can also apply for the Great lakes PGPM program).
There will be a special preference for College / University rank holders in terms of an extra weightage gained as part of the selection process. The onus of proof of rank is vested in the applicant.

Admission Process

Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply to the Great Lakes Institute of Management by completing an online form.
To apply, candidates must fill in the online application form on www.greatlakes.edu.in after making a payment of INR 2,000 online. Candidates have the option of either applying to Great Lakes, Chennai and Great Lakes, Gurgaon campuses separately or for both campuses through the common application form by selecting the appropriate option in the registration form.
Candidates have to provide the official email-id of the recommender. The recommendation letter will be collected from the final selected student’s recommenders and it must be submitted online

The campus placement process for the PGPM Class of 2022 witnessed an excellent season with 100% of the students placed. The average CTC of the batch is 17.86 Lakhs p.a. and the highest domestic CTC offered increased to 33.26 Lakhs p.a.

The campus placement process for the PGDM Class of 2022, witnessed an excellent season with 100% placements by December 2021. The average CTC offered to the Class of 2022 increased by 13% to INR 12.5 Lakhs p.a. while the highest domestic CTC was INR 25.8 Lakhs p.a. offered by a multinational consulting firm.
