About College

BTech Admission PES 2025. PES Institute of Technology, Bangalore (PESIT) came into existence in the year 1972 and is located in the Silicon Valley of India, that is, Bangalore. PES mainly focuses on the main 4 educational streams, which are Engineering, Medicine, Life Sciences & Management. PES Institute of Technology Bangalore, comes under the engineering stream.

This institute was founded in the year 1988 by the People’s Education Society in Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India. It was earlier attached to VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University), and now it comes under its own University. The college provides huge, enriching opportunities for the students studying here to achieve skills & experiences in their career journey. The most important aim of PES Institute of Technology, Bangalore is to initiate new challenges & seize new opportunities for the students so that they can withstand the challenges in the practical world.

The college is spread around a Sprawling twenty-five acres with complete lush greenery, which gives a remarkable learning experience to the students coming here for their studies. As the college is located in the heart of the city, the students find no difficulty in any of the normal living necessities. The local transport of the city is also good because they can travel to any part of the city.

Admission criteria

PESU admits 40% of its students to undergraduate courses based on their Karnataka CET ranks and 60% of its students based on PESSAT (the university’s entrance test) ranks. PESU also admits students under a Management quota, which may not place any merit requirements. There is a lateral entry scheme in place, by which students holding diploma degrees can directly enter the second year of study in engineering. On graduating, students receive a Bachelor of Technology degree.

Students are admitted to postgraduate courses based on their GATE test scores as well as on their Post Graduate Karnataka CET scores. Upon graduating, they receive a Master of Technology degree.

PISAT

On 26 September 2016, PISAT was successfully placed into the polar Sun Synchronous Orbit (SSO) by India’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle, in its thirty-seventh flight (PSLV-C35). Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, “I applaud the industrious and innovative students of PES University, Bengaluru, for creating the PISAT that was launched successfully today”. The launch vehicle, carrying multiple satellites including PISAT, lifted off from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh at 9:12 am.

PISAT was shipped to the Sriharikota Range (SHAR) rocket launch center on 11 September 2016, in the presence of the Director of the ISRO Satellite Centre (ISAC), Mylswamy Annadurai, SSS PD Mr. Amareshwar Khened, and other officials. A team of 11 from PES University was present at SHAR for the pre-launch activities of PISAT from 11 to 17 September. PISAT was interfaced with an ejection mechanism and integrated with the launch vehicle during the period. Earlier, after the stringent performance and quality tests by an expert committee, the nanosatellite was formally handed over to the ISRO at a function on the campus attended by top officials from the government and ISRO on 20 April 2016. BTech Admissions Procedure

BTech Admission PES 2025. PESU grants admission to 40% of its seats in undergraduate courses based on candidates’ performance in Karnataka CET and 60% of seats based on PESSAT (the university’s entrance test) ranks. This year, they are also considering JEE Main for BTech Admission into PES University for those who couldn’t appear in KCET and PESSAT.

PESU also admits students under the Management quota, which does not place any merit requirements.

There is a lateral entry scheme in place, by which students holding diploma degrees can directly enter the second year in the engineering course.

Besides the above, PESU also grants admission to students under the NRI quota. The fee structure for PES University varies every year, subject to changing rules and regulations of the college/university and government regulations.

PES University Admission Cut-Off

BTech Admission PES 2025. For B.Tech Admission in PESIT, 40 % of the aggregate admission of undergrad Engineering at PES University is held for CET Students. (CET Entrance can be seen just by Karnataka domicile students or students who have studied in Karnataka for the most recent 7 years)

In the remaining 60%, the request of determination for confirmation in PES University is First Preference will be given to the PESSAT Test Score (PESIT Bangalore Entrance Exam)
Second Preference will be given to the COMEDK test Score
Third Preference will be given to other National Level Entrance Test Scores
PESIT affirmations for a college class – PES University qualification: (10+2) or Equivalent with
