Direct Admission to BMSIT

BMSIT Direct Admission. In India, most engineering colleges, including BMSIT, admit students based on their performance in national or state-level entrance examinations such as JEE (Joint Entrance Examination), KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test), and COMEDK (Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka).

The admission process at BMSIT typically involves the following steps:

Candidates must appear for the relevant entrance examination and obtain a valid score.
Based on the entrance examination score, candidates must apply for admission to BMSIT through the college website or the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) portal.
Candidates shortlisted based on their entrance examination scores will be called for counselling and seat allotment.

Eligibility Criteria

BMSIT Direct Admission. The candidates shall have passed the 2nd year Pre University or 12th standard or equivalent examination held preceding the entrance test with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects – Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology, or Electronics.

The Candidate should have secured not less than 45% of aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the languages for engineering admissions. For Engineering Admission through Management Quota in BMSIT&M, the minimum percentage of marks expected is 60% as per the current norms of the management.
