Previously, the university was known as the PES Institute of Technology. In 2013, the institute was renamed. PES University is accredited by the University Grants Commission and the Government of Karnataka. This institute was founded in the year 1988 by the People’s Education Society in Bangalore the Silicon Valley of India. It was earlier attached to VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University) and now it comes under its own University. The college provides huge enriching opportunities for the students studying here to achieve skills & experiences in their career journey. For Admission

Candidate 60% aggregate marks in Physics + Math + Chemistry/Computer Science/ Electronics/ Biotechnology of 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board”.
Test Scores in PESSAT (National level exam) or KCET (State level exam) are required. Interested via Direct Admission in Pes University.

What is PESSAT?

PESSAT People’s Education Society Scholastic Aptitude Test is a university-level exam that is conducted by PES University, Bangalore every year for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs. It is conducted by PES University for admission to BTech programs and various other programs offered by the institute. Candidates are shortlisted based on their test score as well as their performance in the personal interview round. The exam duration is 3 hours (180 minutes) comprising of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English papers.
