Cambridge Institute of Technology BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025

BE at Cambridge Institute of Technology is an undergraduate course designed for students enthusiastic about pursuing a career in Engineering. In this programme, students get the option to choose from a wide array of specializations.

Some of the mainstream specializations are BE in Computer Science & Engineering, BE in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, BE in Information Science & Engineering, BE in Electronics & Communication Engineering, BE in Civil Engineering, and more. All these courses are offered for a duration of four years.

Cambridge Institute of Technology, Bangalore, BE admissions are entrance-based. Candidates aspiring to take admission must have appeared for national-level entrance exams accepted by the institute. The accepted exams are- KCET and COMEDK. Apart from this, admissions are only possible if students fulfill the following CIT BE eligibility criteria before applying:

Eligibility:

A pass in Class 12 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics as one of the optional subjects
The eligibility for admission is 45% in the case of General Category and 40% marks in the qualifying examination in the case of SC/ST, Category-1, and OBC Category candidates

Moreover, the institute also offers BE admissions via management quota to both Karnataka and non-Karnataka students. Under this channel of admission, students are offered admission based on their academic merit.
