About Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering

DSCE Entrance Management Quota Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt. of India, and affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University. It has the widest choice of engineering branches, having 15 Undergraduate courses & 13 Post Graduate courses. In addition, it has 20 Research Centers in different branches of engineering,g catering to research scholars for obtaining a Ph.D. under VTU. Various courses are accredited by the NBA.

The Institute is spread over 29 acres of land and has a large infrastructure supported by laboratories with state-of-the-art Equipment and machines. The central library, with modern facilities, and the Digital Library provide the knowledge base for the students.

The campus is WI-FI equipped with a large bandwidth internet facility. The College has good faculty strength with the highest professional integrity and is committed to academics with transparency in their actions. Course and Eligibility

B.E Programs

For UG, admission to college is through the entrance test / Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Karnataka Government & Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka / COMEDK. The students with meritorious rankings are considered for admission.
A pass in PUC/12th/10+2 or equivalent examination on the first attempt with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with English as one of the subjects/languages.
A pass in PUC/12th/10+2 or equivalent examination with 45 % marks aggregate in Physics, Mathematics & any one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Biology / Computer science / Electronics.
Candidates belong to Karnataka SC, ST & other backward classes (Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A & 3B) the minimum marks for eligibility will be 40% aggregate in the optional subjects.

The Centre provides all students pre-placement training in soft skills to enable them to apprise themselves of the modern corporate requirements in association with CIL – Centre for Innovation & Leadership and HR Division.

Discipline in Campus:

Students should follow the prescribed dress code by DSCE while on campus and also have to wear an ID card issued by the College.
Unsocial activities like ragging in any form shall not be permitted within or outside the precincts of the institution and the students found indulging in them shall be dealt with severely and dismissed from the institution.
The following additional acts of omission and /or commission by the students within or outside the precincts of the college shall constitute a gross violation of the code of conduct which is punishable.
Lack of courtesy and decorum, as well as indecent behavior.
Willful damage to the property of the Institution/Hostel or fellow students.
Possession, consumption, or distribution of alcoholic drinks or any kind of hallucinogenic drugs, or smoking.
Mutilation or unauthorized possession of library material, like books.
Hacking in computer systems (such as entering into other persons’ areas without prior permission, manipulation and/or damage of computer hardware and software or any other cybercrime, etc.).
Use of Mobile in the college Academic area.
Unauthorized fundraising and promoting sales.
