TISS Application Process

Go to the official website of TISS.
Click on the “Apply Online’’ button and register.
Fill out the application form and pay the application fee online by Credit card/Debit card/net banking or through challan in any branch of SBI with a bank processing fee of Rs. 50.
Upload the following desired documents and submit the application form:

Admission Process

The admission process for the MBA program at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in Mumbai for 2024 is based on the Central University Entrance Test (Postgraduate) (CUET PG):

1. Apply for CUET PG

Candidates must apply for the CUET exam. The CUET PG exam for 2025 is scheduled from March 11 to March 28. Assist for MBA Admission in TISS.

2. Assessment rounds

Shortlisted candidates will participate in assessment rounds conducted by the institute. These rounds include-

Online Assessments (OA): Candidates will reflect on a given topic for 2-3 minutes.
Online Personal Interview (OPI): A panel of senior faculty members will interview the candidates to assess their motivation, aptitude, and potential for the program. The OPI is worth 100 marks.

3. Final selection

Admissions Rules of TISS

1. All students must apply for SSE Programmes through online mode only.

2. Students need to select the on-the-job training location while selecting the program.

3. Students may apply for one program or a maximum of three programs in a single application form with an application fee of Rs. 200 per program applied

4. The student needs to fill in the Service Provider code wherever applicable.

5. SSE shall offer admission in programs that are viable in terms of a minimum batch size of 30 students in your chosen location.

6. Students have to ensure that they have made the right selection of Programme/s and have read the program details carefully before applying.

7. In case a student applies for more than 1 program, the admission will be considered only for that program for which the fees have been paid within the stipulated timeframe.

8. Eligibility rules as specified for each program, shall be strictly followed and shall not be relaxed under any circumstances. Candidate should ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility requirements prescribed for admission to the concerned program of study.

9. The Final Admission of students will be confirmed only after verification of original certificates, and Payment of the required fees (Refundable Caution Deposit and first installment of the program fees).

10. Candidates awaiting the result of the qualifying examination may also apply for admission with the clear understanding that their admission will remain provisional until they fulfill all the eligibility requirements of the concerned program.

11. A candidate whose qualifying examination is not recognized by this university, as identified during verification shall not be eligible for admission. All such admissions (if provided) shall stand canceled and fees paid (if any) will also be forfeited.

12. Students submitting electronic copies need to submit a copy of the original marksheet and pass certificate as a mandatory requirement during the verification process of the University.

13. No bona fide BSc/Bachelor/ B.Voc student will be permitted to pursue any other full-time Undergraduate program with the same or another university.

14. No correspondence shall be made to a candidate not selected for admission.

15. Candidates failing to deposit the refundable caution deposit and first installment of fees within the stipulated date and time will be denied admission at SSE. The offer of admission shall stand cancelled and no correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.
